Ankaa Avarshina he IS op a slow, reliable silence, and an aoe stun that also serves as willow's 2nd(it does silence and disarm u however but even then that doesnt stop him from making him op
he's not OP, you people are just not learning him in the game yet. And those points you make are not valid. Lion and SS both have a slow AND a silence all in one spell, AND it's instant. And they have long lasting stuns with Impale and Shackles. I doubt you'd say they're OP. All of Grimstroke's spells are seriously easily countered once you've learned him. His Q has a long delay and simply don't group up with your allies so it doesn't do a lot of damage, simply attack the phantom to remove the silence AND prevent the end damage, and Ink Swell still allows him to be targeted you know, so just stun him regularly like with Sven or VS. It's simply knowing how he works you'd see he's a fragile, easy picking. His ult... come on. If people know now NOT to group up against an ES, Enigma or Tide, then you should know that too against a Grimstroke. Or better yet, buy a Force Staff, Blink, Linkens, Lotus, or Euls to negate it.
Man, I still remember how hype that Out Now moment was. Me and my friends literally stopped watch TI and sprinted to our computers to play him. Hope Valve does more hero releases like this
Don't understand some people like you who always start bitching whenever a new hero comes out. Valve puts effort into ensuring that dota 2 is constantly innovating and having new things so that players don't get bored, but shithead like you would just complain and bitch about everything instead of being appreciative. if you rather play a boring game with no new updates why don't you go and play the fucking Minecraft.

Bowser That's the thing about solo ranked match, you have to adapt and communicate with strangers. It's only normal that people would want to try out the new hero, if he can't deal with that, he can easily choose to play party MMR. What's the point of posting a comment here bitching on the new hero? Dota 2 community is intoxicated by these toxic players who can't appreciate anything.
Verbal Wound He’s not bitching at the new hero. He just doesn’t want to lose just because people are testing the new hero. People won’t have fun if a teammate keeps dying because they suck with the new character or because their teammates keep leaving because they wanted to play the character. It’s just boring and a waste of their time. I’m all for experimentation. That’s all I’ve been doing since the new guy came out. However, I wouldn’t want to experiment in a game where my rating is on the line.

He’s just implying that with the new hero out there’s going to be a lot of players picking the hero in ranked matches and since it’s new they’ll be inexperienced with the hero massively affecting the games he will play either for the better or for worse. He didn’t say he wouldn’t play dota. He just won’t play ranked dota.
I love Dota 2 for creating this short trailer for the new hero. They should keep this up with all incoming heroes and character lores, it's kinda cool to see if their stories are visually presented.
The thing i liked the most about them is that they are "evil" themed like. Last time we got new heroes, we got fluffy fun happy characters and i think it would be important to get "evil" themed heroes next, Valve did it.
@@ayumisanyuki7116 Even though the alignment of Radiant and Dire doesn't exist anymore, Mireska is listed as members of the Radiant, then again Radiant is evil too despite being full of life. Look at all the Radiant heroes, they're a bunch of psychos and chaotic zealots.

Ember Spirit was an old warrior poet reincarnated by a fire spirit, its possible that Grimstroke comes from the same civilization as Xin, or a very similar one where their warriors use similar gear as Xin.
I'm starting to get mad with so much anxiety to play with Mars. Every day I see from 0:20 more than ten times, I need him to launch this month, I can not wait any longer, I'm going crazy every second.
I bet that some Mars skill will reference Kadmo's mythos, the one in which He slaughter Ares pupil Dragon, ripped his teeth and burred them. From those teeth raised and army of terrifying, violent and powerful men, all fully armed. Kadmos thrown a stone between them, and so the bloody fight started. After all just few left - they became most loyal warrios and friends to Kadmos, builders of Teb and it's great noble families. As we can see during Mars teaser, all the hoplites rise from the ground, like they would be burred alive :) That's just my theory.
And I'm here slightly mad because they chose Mars (Roman) not Ares (Greek). Ares has the exactly same story, the Romans just copy it for Mars and also, we already have Zeus so Ares would set interesting grounds lore wise
from the trailer it seems it's a spell delay where a radius is covered from attacks by spartans, pretty creative and adds more in the already complex dota gameplay

Grimstroke movie is beyond epic, with Eastern stylistics and Dragon Age 2-like style. Mars appears lazy compared to it, but hey, at least it looks like it was filmed on the planet Mars.
