Thanks, Kelly and Nanyi! It’s interesting to hear your opinions, now that I have my own experience with both written exams. I would like to add that it’s much easier to apply to the second one, because they both have the same prerequisites and you already have everything ready. So you can’t really compare the two organizations here. For me, NBCMI seemed harder, but more straightforward. I think it’s because they only have 50 questions (compared to 100 in CHI), so they don’t have any space for easy or evasive questions. When I finished my training, I only knew about CHI and decided to take it. Unfortunately, they don’t oral exam for Russian, so 2 years later I decided to take the NBCMI too. +1 that InterpreMed is EXTREMELY helpful in getting prepared, can not stop recommending it to everyone❤️
Chi oral only gave me 1 green sheet of paper n i ran out of space ...also computer broke down and 2 procter employees were talking about 7ft away from me?...couldn't be any worse experienc!
