Double Fatal Freeway Crash | COVINA, CA 11.8.20 

It’s good one person did the right thing and came back to the scene. How anyone can cause an accident and run instead of trying to help blows my mind.

They caught the guys who hit them already 1 black male and 1 hispanic male and they are young also !

To the friends and family of the deceased, I’m so sorry for you. Further, first responders and law enforcement are hero’s.

This was awful. A passerby tried to do CPR on the person who was ejected from the car.

Man I literally grew up less than 5 minutes from here hope they find out who did it and hopefully I didn’t know anyone involved my heart goes out to those families

There is another video of this same wreck which shows the 2 deceased are not elderly and the guy sitting by the divider was in hand cuffs.

Poor souls may they RIP now. Hope they get the ones responsible for this and they pay dearly for it.

At first it doesn't look bad. Then u see the back. They had to of been hauling ass. The force of that hit was like a 2000 pound bomb going off.

The driver killed 2people and should have to pay for that and ALL of them for leaving the scene.

That criminal that ran, then came back? Did so for his OWN selfish reasons. Not because he was some how feeling guilty, or became altruistic. Didn't you see his arm? Busted, BAD. THAT's why he came back. He needed assistance. And he got it. THAT's why I say, "criminal", because he is. Maybe even if he's not the driver. What were they stashing up in those hills? Innocent people don't run from a massively major accident of this nature. That's far more than even "abnormal". Way past suspicious. Something we never heard about on the news, despite the huge interest, something like this should bring. That was a very bad break, and he knew he's never get far. Period.

The cheap Nissan Versas are a death trap. RIP.

When I see these fatals, I always think of the finality of death. These people may have been having a great day. Then later something happens on the freeway resulting in their deaths. That's it. Their lives are over.

I drive 40 miles one way to work every day and the ones that overly exceed the speed limit are putting everyone at risk…more so when doing the drive home at night in rain and snow…trust me where you going will be there no matter how fast you go…respect the roads and drivers on the road. Please!

In the past they used to send an ambulance to access a possible injury to a person.Now a days they apparently sent a giant fire truck to do the same job. It's great that you can be treated/accessed by these true hero's that will always come to your aid but it seems such a waste of fuel and equipment to send such a large and wasteful vehicle. Maybe that's all they had available at the time, don't know. I would think a huge county as L.A. would have plenty of available EMS vehicles at the ready.

I wonder if those victims were wearing their seatbelts, I’ve seen some rear ended collision as this one and most of the people survive. R.I.P.

What really makes me mad is after the accident all the cops are there... but I remember that before the accident there was supposed to be a cop that always stops for car's that are broken down to help even if it's just to turn on his lights while they fix it or they get towed out by a tow truck.

It kinda looks like another rendition of “failure to keep your eyes on the road ahead”. I wouldn’t rule out alcohol and drugs or mobile phone texting while driving. The one guy fled because he’s probably the driver and he didn’t want to be charged with DUI. Now, he’s going to be charged with ,DUI, multiple counts of manslaughter and failure to remain at the scene.
