You pointed out how smart the villains are this episode by attacking the rangers. Honestly in Toku this happens all the time. Most Toku shows have either a way for the heores to defend against attacks, like the transformation has a UI that scts like a shield, or the hero gets straight up hit. A famous example is Dekaranger(SPD) where they had a movie exclusive ranger, DekaGold, who was shot and killed mid transformation.

Hi there, just want to inform you about how naming works in Japan. normally we say our first name and then surname. However, in Japan, people say their surname and then first name. So, in boonboomger, I hope you guys remember that in the episode where ishirou wants to expose jou, in the end he said that his full name is meita ishirou. Here meita is surname and ishirou is first name. Same with akuse jou, bureki genba, shifuto Mira, hando taiya. The first names appear to be actually first name, but it actually is the surname. Just informing for enhancing knowledge, nothing really personal

Super Sentai has had to reinvent itself as a series many times over over the years. I'd definetly say it reinvented how many rangers could be a thing in the early 90s. Its marketing, camera quality and story telling around the year 2000. The 2010's saw assorted updates like legacy items, better toys, better CG, cameos outside of VS series, and anniversary episodes. But regarding camera work, for sure Ninninger in 2015 that got that turned around (even if doesn't get a lot of credit). They did an abundance of just crazy stunt work and single take shots. Then in Zyuohger they really amped it up with go-pro and drone shots. They haven't stopped uping their camera game since. And about Pink/Orange pairing, it's fairly rare in Sentai too. It could have only have ever happened in two other Sentai (and very techinically 4) but neither of those did become PR series, so you're right on that. The only two other were Toqger and Kyuranger (the technical ones are Dekaranger [SPD] and Battle Fever J).

@@jpcsdutra Dude there were alot of people still in those season! In Zenkaiger just because they are not "human" Characters, but there’s still real people in. those suits, and they used alot people when they summon Evil-Sentai rangers And Donbrothers had 15-17 Characters that can tranforms! How is that little or less?

@@GGX120 Because that was literally the reasoning. The only people that need to show up out of suit for the biggest portion of Zenkaiger are only 4 people tops, so they could change suit actors if anyone got sick. Same for the two CG rangers in Donbrothers and why Kijino and Tsubasa were written to have excuses to be absent from time to time. Kiramager's filming suffered greatly from the pandemic, so they made casts lighter on people on the following two years. Locations were limited, casts were limited, suit actors were limited. CG ramped up. Cutting back doesn't mean removing altogether. Dunno what to tell you 🤷‍♂ I've been following up with BTS stuff from Sentai for years, and I can tell you for a fact those seasons cut back on actual people for that reason. The pandemic only really did end in the second quarter of Donbura.
