Double Jaw Surgery Day! + first days of recovery 

I have my double jaw surgery in the morning (21st April), and it didn’t really strike me until now (the evening before) that I’m about to go for a major surgery. I’m nervous and excited in equal measures, as you say, my quality of life will be so much more than it is now. Sending support to not only you, but anybody else reading this in anticipation of their surgery! 🤗🤗💙

I am jealous of every person who gets there jaw done. My family is poor and I have been waiting since I was 13 years old, now I have jaw pain. But, over all I'm happy for you and congrats

Did they reduce your jawbone? After anesthesia wear off is it worst pain? Did the painkiller help u in a liitle amount of time?

Over a year later, how are you feeling? Did you have this done because you had issues like breathing or pain in the jaw/causing migraines? or just because you had the underbite itself? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how old were you when you got it done?. I am almost 36 and have been suggested to have this done. I have no actual issues as such, other than the bite being wrong and a little uncomfortable, but have got use to it over the past 35yrs of my life...and wonder if it's worth it :/ cacking myself as I need teeth removed, then braces then surgery :S Thanks in advance!

How long did it take for u to recover?

How long did you have your braces on before they did the surgery? Just curious as I got mine on July 3rd last year, so it’ll be just under a month and then I’ve had them for a year
