Just found this channel and enjoy watching the content. I'm from Mass myself and used to set up with my Dad at Hubbardston back in the 90s which ironically was also my main source of comic collecting back then as well.

Some cool tables. I guess comics and collectible stuff like comics/action figures aren’t big here in my town we have “swap meets” that’s what they call them here and no comics whatsoever and only kids toys no collectible pop culture stuff :(
Me too, and so many of my favorite covers have absolute snooze-fests underneath. I guess it adds a little value to a comic that otherwise wouldn’t get any love.
Those 12 comics for $20 was a great deal. Defenders 84 is a great score. Good price on the Godzilla #1. You didn't buy it but it was really cool to see that Peacemaker #1. That's not an everyday comic.
All of those comics are great, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't really excited to see that Godzilla #1. Great haul! And I don't blame you for passing on the Tales to Astonish. $10 is a great deal, but in that condition, it's still not worth it.
Those DC Digests do have value depending on which ones you find. Though the vast majority of them are reprints, there are original stories scattered in there, most notably the last 12 issues (or so) of the original run of Adventure Comics, which switched over to 100-page digests. DC published digests from 1977 to early '80s. Marvel had digest runs of Transformers, GI Joe and some comic strip material like Dennis the Menace in the mid to late 80s. In 2017, they had a short 8 issue run of Marvel Super-heroes in digest form. The only company I know of doing it now is Archie Comics. The thing that caught my eye was the newsstand comic rack and some of the comics in it.
Thanks for the info on the digests! As for the rack he was selling the whole thing as is (I couldn’t take out any books). It was 5 sided and evidently that’s very rare.
Loving your content. I've gone back and watched all your videos. I can relate to the lunch money for comics thing. I didn't use lunch money, but basically when I got change from anywhere it was saved for comics.

Great content. I’ve got a young son too it’s hard to get him to read but he’s been into the characters as long as I can remember but watching videos like this makes me want to go out and hunt. Keep it up 👍🏻
Godzilla! If I had the money, I would buy those civil wars. Just because. But I'm disabled on a fixed income so I can only buy a couple of Comics a week. But I got a pretty decent collection going so far about 200 books.
Very cool brotha. I love flea markets. I've been to the hubbardston flea market. I got a bunch of she-hulk books from the inside vendor. I live in Worcester so maybe one day we'll bump into each other at a flea market. New sub, looking forward to seeing more of your content. 👊🏼
That’s a very fair comment. Often times it’s a filming slight of hand, where my camera mount is in my way, and I film flipping through the comics quick, then put the camera away to get a better look at each one. Other times I just don’t have the time and concede possible missed gems. Filming and picking don’t exactly compliment each other!
I doubt those minicomics are worth anything but I am 50 this year and I clearly remember those Dc ones I saw them being sold in brixton market I am sure they are not worth anything primarily because they are reprints......I remember Marvel comics did the same thing identical reprints of Transformers back issues in chronological order again probably worthless i will check right now.
Finding comics at flea markets are fun. Fyi, if you were interested in buying cheap bulk comics, look for the $1 boxes. Sometimes, you can buy the whole box fairly cheap. Then, you might only be paying .50 each. :)
Weird just checked on Google it does not seem to recognise them may be they are (marvel and dc mini comics)by the way suprised I am suprised you collect british marvel comics does your collection include British dc comics?

I have the world’s most bootleg jury-rigged camera mount. I’m using it less and less because it simply makes it too hard to go through the comics and I look REALLY stupid doing it.

I had to sub because I lived in Springfield , Mass for over 30 years and I love the Brimfield Flea Market. I assume you must either live toward Spfld or Worcester, glad to have a fellow comic collector to follow !! Great video and thanks for sharing !!!

Sometimes i'm surprised at what he seems to skip over. Like I saw a Wolverine #10 (First Sabretooth??), so I assume it was overpriced, or he already had it?
Great video. I love going to yard sales and garage sales looking for comics but the people around here don't sell them. I'm in a little town on the West Coast by Oregon border. I have to travel 2 hours away just to find a big flea market or something like that. Great books though!
I am definitely lucky that I live in the heart of New England flea market country, but I’m also only a few hours away from so many good locations including New York. Small states are good for that.
@@lunchmoneycomics I forgot to say California. But, yeah, Oregon is a beautiful state. I have many relatives up there one is just 2 hours away and coos bay. LOL
