Awesome haul. Yes you did good you did better than good. Those last two Fantastic Fours and that number one just before it they're worth it. Even if you got them graded they're still worth it. They should go for at least over 4 or 500 easy if they were graded. Great video and I'll catch you on the next one thanks.

$1 or $2 comics are always good. Getting characters and stories you're already looking for is fantastic.

I think you had a great hall. The FF's are really cool! Personally, i would have passed on the paper girls since they were speculative. $10 could go to other comics. Plus, im sure you were rushing around the flea, but you flipped through the comic bins so fast, you might have flipped through some goodies. But an awesome haul anyway!

I'm 56 and I'm still a sucker for a chrome or foil cover. I just think they look great. I've got an old wore out Namor with the blue shiny cover. Looks like crap but I like it still. The only bad thing is I got to find it it's in storage somewhere with all my others I used to have. And a few of them I think they're worth a little bit of money because their keys. I just have to check New Mutants I think?

The paper girls was a great pick up it won’t go down in value and the show brought in new potential collectors. The print run didn’t get any larger they will continue to hold some value.

Being a teenager in the 70’s I only collected comics l loved. I worked on completing those titles and was only limited by my cash flow. Speculation was never on my mind. Love the content Mike!! Can’t wait for the next upload!

That Green Lantern in the beginning of that first box you really dug through I have that one. It's not to get a shape either but I like to collect number ones and I like all Green Lantern. I'm working on my new 52 run figuring that would be the easiest to get first.

I sold all of my comics back in 93 and last year I started collecting again, mainly because of watching your videos. My wife thanks you. I love your channel not only because of comics but mainly its an escape from all the negative BS that' going on in the world. Thank you

What an excellent pile of comics, and for such an amazing price! The Marvel Indexes are a great way to relive the individual issues (or read detailed synopses of issues you may not have) and they're much better written than 99% of online synopses. Whether you keep or sell that Squadron Supreme maxiseries, read it first - Mark Gruenwald was a great writer and here he's at the top of his game. Oh the cover for X-Men Alpha! Did we ever really think that was great art? We were so innocent then.... My speculation only extends as far as selling individual issues after I buy the trade paperback that collects them, but I'd keep one copy of Paper Girls #1 and sell the other - and depending on your timing, you may cop a financial hit doing so. For me there is absolutely no doubt: you're on a winner with your Brimfield purchases.

Thanks for the tip on the Squadron Supreme. I added all 12 to my want list. Great pick ups and I love the chrome covers. Sports cards were doing the same thing around that time. Bowman Chrome were the packs I always got and picked up some great rookies during that time. For the book with the taped up cover, I say it’s good to have a reading copy that you’re not worried about touching and you can/will find a better copy for the collection to show off, slab, sell or trade. Great video.

I wouldn't have bought the paper girls......nope. But those dollar books are gold! The fantastic fours still seem a little pricey but I would have bought them too. All in all a great haul.... except the paper girls. lol

FYI - The two-page spread for the X-Men 1 that features Cyclops and Wolverine (both covers) has the 1st appearance of Omega Red. Name is not mentioned but he is clearly depicted on the spread.

You definitely did great! Dig those early Fantastic Four comics. I feel those Jim Lee X-men #1 covers are so iconic now regardless of value. I got some for my pc. I live in Northern New Jersey and it is getting tougher now to find good prices even at Flea Markets so I have to be really patient but good deals are out there.

A lot of the books I grew up with, would absolutely pick up for $1 or less for my PC on nostalgia alone. I couldn't have afforded all of those books when I was a kid either so better late than never at a discount!

At that price, I would have picked up those X-Men covers as well. I only have one of the covers, so it would be worth it, especially being a huge X-Men fan. The FF books look great for the condition, so definitely a good grab. And I'm intrigued by Paper Girls. I haven't read the book or watched the show, but I've heard great things about it. I probably would have picked those up as well. Awesome haul, my man!

also, honestly I would have picked up that Paper Girls #1 for $10 for sure! I enjoy BKV, I love Cliff Chiang's art, and I collect what I enjoy, not to speculate. I have a full run of Paper Girls, but I have #1 in a slab, if there's one thing I regret, I would have just picked up a raw copy and skipped the slab. Still I'm happy just holding on to it no matter what the show does or what happens to it in the future.

I'm definitely going to book a trip next year to check it out. Great finds for a great price.

Those Xmen 1 books should be around $1-2. I like those books, but there are millions of those. Then again Spawn 1 is selling for $10-20 despite limited demand and massive overproduction.

I got that West Coast avengers all four of them and the rest of the West Coast avengers also it was the first run I ever collected and they're really a good read better than the regular avengers I think.

Avengers is celebrating 60th anniversary next year 2023

Folks liked Paper Girls. They will be pick-ups in the future. I look at it this way, no one wanted the silver age back in the 70's, garage sale fodder. In the 80's and 90's no one wanted the bronze age. Same with copper. As time goes on, everyone wished they had grabbed this or that. it is inevitable. Example: my Hulk 181 CGC8.5, paid $300.00 for it when those books were cheap (2012). Just try to buy any BIG key from between 1957~2012 for the original or close to the original price...not happening. Buy the way, 30day average on that Hulk is 8.5K (spiked to 13K May of 2021). Folks have to take a broader view. If you are buying to flip tomorrow, forget it. Wait for the broader markets to begin leading the economy in 2023. I say this because those stock and commodity brokers gotz to get paid. If I do a channel average on that same Hulk 181 2 years out, 14K. I am not saying 10K for Paper Girls, just saying the markets will improve in time for everything.
