After watching several other videos on trying to get my double unders, I was about to give up when I watched yours. I immediately felt the difference in your communication and steps. Awesome progression that helped me get my double unders in a matter of days of consistent practice.

I realized that I'm in #step6. Thank you so much for your clever advice. Always tried to knock out multiple DU unbroken, which worked totally inconsistently. Now I will step back and work on 2 consistent DU, then 3, then 4,... Great video and a great channel!

I'm a 3 month beginner who's bad at just about anything but for some reason I have a knack for double unders. First time I picked up a rope I could do a few singles, 1 double, few singles, 1 double unbroken without much effort. Feels nice to be good at something, haha.

haha, only 3 months in? Just stay consistent and you'll get there. Most people are bad at everything when they start but well done with the Du's, they're tricky!

Amazing progression tips! I've watched a bunch of videos but none of them were that specific after you reach the first DU. I'm doing what you suggested by intuition. 🙌🏻

Thank you so much! I started crossfit just 1 month ago and DU’s were near impossible for me to get my head around until today! Everyone told me it took them years but I tried your steps and it just clicked, keep posting these helpful videos!

Used this method today and managed to do 41 reps in 4 1/2 minutes! Previously could only do +-5-7 in 2 minutes. Thanks for the great video / tips - will continue working as per your progressions and can only improve....with further help from your other videos.

I found this video and I'm happy. I do CF for 1,5 years. I can do 3 SU. 1 DU and so on. But I got several advices to get better. So I know, I'm on the right way. TV: I love to watch cross country😊

Just got a sped rope. My old leather one comparatively feels like s battle rope. Gonna take a bit to get used to it before I do a du. Great guide though Thanks

I work at a CrossFit gym as a CSR and I see a lot of DB's there, and I've tried but can't manage these! Very useful info and I look forward to practicing and getting to do these soon ;-)

Ben, is thee a particular rope you recommend? Ive got multiple ropes. One is a pretty lightweight rope which i find so difficult to "feel" when spinning. The other is not a heavy rope but definitely thicker cabled so its easier to keep momentum and feel when jumping. Ive still yet to get a double but have decided to follow this tutorial step by step. Loving the word-rep/sugarwod app. Been amazing.

This is great and has been helping me a lot. I'm getting my numbers up but I find that I often just get really tired and can't hold the proper form you've suggested here. Is that normal when you're starting out and is it just that I need to get improve my cardio and stamina?

Nice video! Question: I'm in step #5, I can consistently do single sets of S, S, Double. Should I try to get maybe 10 of those SSD sets linked and unbroken before or go to step #6? Similar Q for step #6: should I work on linked sets of S, S, D, D, or just focus on doing one set and stopping consistently before increasing the number of DUs

I would focus on keeping the rope spinning for your S,S,D - try to be able to do that for a long as you want, really. When it comes to learning S,S,S,D,D - it can work really well to just stop afterwards. Ideally, you want that to turn into S,S,S,D,D,D,STOP which is better than S,S,S,D,D,S if your goal is to learn multiple unbroken! Once you go unbroken DO NOT got back :)

I was at my gym ("box", whatever you wanna call it) and the instructor stopped me from doing my dubs because i was jumping, like you did in this video, too high- "wasting too much energy". Then he proceeded to show me how to do it "properly" and i cannot, for the life of me, get a DU at all now- like that. It looks like a dolphin jumping out of the water, they don't bend their knees. The rope keeps hitting the top of my head (having it set where i was told based on my height) on the second swing to dub.... so, i can slopily get one thos way but not 2 and its infuriating. In the way you're doing it, i can easily get to 20 unbroken. WTH...?
