Sitting here again actually by my tree singing with tears in my eyes. Winter outside and snow. Real tree still look majestic all the way to the roof. Kungsgran.
Oh no! Another song about me! Damn, I'm a lot more popular than I ever thought. Almost everyone is writing songs about me or my life. Keep on keepin' on Doug.
I'm from L.A where country music is well near non-existent. I came across this gem of a song and I can't stop listening to it. His lyrics, his voice, the guitar I mean WOW... I need more of this in my life.
Joaquin Meza He is touching peoples hearts with his voice around the world, met him tonight here In Finland, had the opportunity to meet him and shake his hand. God bless.
Jesus and John the Baptist showed us the way how we could clean our conscience and bury the old person/life, when we go down in water baptism - so we could talk to God directly without any priest or church. Now we don’t need to feel shame or dirty because our sins are washed away. Jesus offers us a new life and a restored mind.
i was lead to Doug through a Facebook post... a few of his lyrics and a Google search later i found this. amazing! i wish we got good country like this in Los Angeles, I'd love to see him play this live
This song has been stuck in my head for the past few weeks. I heard Doug for the first time singing on the streets of Nashville, I had to stop and listen to this whole song because it was just that powerful.
Mr. Seegers... I'm so glad for you. I first heard this, your song, a few years ago... by happenstance. And then your story. You're a diamond in the rough. Keep doing your thang. You've many angels around you helping you along the way. Peace. 3:)
I like it better when it's just him & his music. Viin took away from this song. He doesn't need a lot of extra instruments. Love this song!!! Best version is where he's sitting on the streets of Nashville singing it
I love this man's singing, such passion, something that the everyday person can relate to, a true classic. I would love to hear him sing Keith Whitley's version of - Nobody In His Right Mind Would've Left Her, but in Doug's amazing style.
I listen to this song every day buddy,I like to play the blues slide,i feel the country blues here,I would like to put some steel body slide to this.God bless those two people who gave you a chance,Nashville lost something here,to bad for them, your the real deal buddy.Far as I'm concerned you pee on modern country.
Epic. I actually like the backup vocals and violin accompanist. Also, they stuck with the original tempo which to me is showing reverence to the original artist. Very well done.
I ride with Urban Bicycle Food Ministries delivering food to the homeless in Nashville. I’ve ran up on a few others with powerful lyrics and delivery. This shows you that it doesn’t matter how many times you get knocked down, it’s how many times you get up.
