Exactly Jennifer. I have said it many times. She doesn’t want us to hear the awful talk and comments being said by her family.

But that is Alicia's FAILURE to engage the children during teachable moments. When you are raising children as you do daily activities there are numerous opportunities to talk to the children and interact with the children so they can learn life skills. Say you are doing laundry and the child wants attention. You talk about whatever the child wants to talk about as you do the chore. You talk about how to sort clothes because some items need to be washed in hot water and others need to be washed in cold water. You talk about how much detergent to put on the machine. You show the child how to turn on the machine. When the wash is done you show the child how to transfer the clothes into the dryer. You show the child how to use the machine. As the child gets older, they learn how to help you with the laundry so they can do their own laundry as an adult. It is using teachable moments so that your child grows into a responsible adult. It is not that hard. Alicia Fails at it no matter what she is doing because Alicia is so focused on making videos that she is not interacting with the children.

My MIL homeschools and she says times and when I try to help her kids with school, I say multiply. They literally get so lost and confused. It also drives me nuts when people don't say multiply.
