I showed my mom this, she's a chef. Needless to say she was almost in tears watching Alicia make this shit. She said she wishes she could slap her with every single frozen steak and that if she (my mom) ever in her life cooked like that at any point to put her in a mental institution 💀 Alicia has no idea how to make anything, and it seem like she doesn't even care enough to properly research it and follow anything to put love into it for her family.

She portrays like this “hardworking mom who gets up at 5am to cook” facade but then at the same time gives off an “whatever I’m busy” sense of just throwing ingredients together just for the sake of time. Like it’s either one of the other lady. You don’t see her put any care/effort/love into any of her food. Its just doing what’s convenient for her. And yea that can be the case sometimes because 12 kids is alot of mouths to feed. But dam every once in a while make something from scratch, put some care and love into what you’re making. Everything for her is processed junk for the pure sense of convenience.

The 5lb salt potatoes from wegmans are 4 pounds of potatoes and 1 pound of salt. (She made 8 pounds of potatoes essentially, with 2 pounds of salt -- meaning each person would get half a pound of finished potatoes.) The salt forms an amazing crust on the potatoes and goes back from the coal miner days.) I find her shirt hillarious. That woman wouldn't know the definition of less if it bit her in the rear!

even as an adult i can’t eat more than maybe 6oz of any version of potatoes as a side dish. preparing 32oz for each child is insane. i understand wanting to have leftovers… but even the leftovers will have leftovers from the leftovers

First off, she could've made some amazing baked potatoes. I live in the south, born and raised. My momma, God rest her soul, was the epitome of an amazing southern cook, my brother is a contest winning bbq'r... so I know a thing or two 😏. What she should've done is poke some holes in the pots,(after washing them), rub them in a little oil. Bake them for 25 minutes, high heat 400, you want the skin crispy! First 25 min, take them out brush with butter, douse those bitches in course kosher salt. place them back in another 20min. Take them out cut, fluff and serve. Now you have a perfectly baked potato with perfectly crispy, salty skins. Chefs kiss.

The amount of times ‘lusha says “I’m eating my dinner on the go” or “I forgot to eat today” - I fully believe she does that for the “omg you’re such a great mom! You put your kids first all the time” comments.. like she 100% does it for the attention and pity. Cause any attention is better than no attention in her eyes (from what I gather). Doing it all is not realistic for most parents, let alone a parent that has 12 kids to take care of (2 dogs and who knows how many chickens)… the “I do it all” personality honestly gets to me cause she has parents and her husband that’s more than capable of helping with so much more. YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALL. So stop acting like you do need to. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes, they did deep fry stuff back in the 1600's and 1700's. You can still find cook books from those days and they are amazing! They mostly didn't give measurements, or if they did it would be a vague measurement that we dont use anymore, but if you already know how to cook you can figure it out.

Her timing never makes sense. In here she says they have a track meet in an hour so she’s starting dinner early..but steak and potatoes are gonna take around an hour to cook, then eat, clean up. You’re looking at 2 hours. You wouldn’t make it to that meet. And in her last around the world night she said they had something to go to that night for one of the kids but if you watch the clock, she was still cooking at 730pm..she makes absolutely no sense 😂

I’d love to see a video of the aftermath of each of the meals that she makes to see how much of it was actually eaten. I feel like the food is so badly cooked/cold that the kids just grab something from the pantry or freezer instead. 😂

I work in a nursing home and we have about 50+ residents pluse we feed our staff and we dont even use 20lbs of potatoes to feed everyone 😂 Also those mushrooms should have been washed, they still have dirty on them. There is usually some bad ones in there too!! I would literally die if she had to cook for me!!

I agree with the blackstone. We don’t cook inside during the hot TX summer since we got our blackstone. My kids and I got hubby a blackstone pizza oven for his birthday and it’s been amazing! Especially with dough that ferments in the fridge for a few days. Yuuuummmmmmyyyy!!
