I grew up on guerilla maab, trae, dougie d and zro frfr. Their sound was so unique when it came to the production and the content of their lyrics that I gravitated towards it with ease 💯💪🏾
Definitely not underrated bro, it's top ten on my list with Rise from Guerilla Maab but his career just cut short cuz he inside, otherwise we would of seen more gems dropped.
Growing up jamming these boys since day one Look what you did to me in 98 G Maab Rise 99’ the came the 2000s man Ro Trae the whole ABN raised me with their music from a 12yrs to now 35 going on 36 their music is a time capsule in my life it so hurt to see these Boyz not getting back together the City really need a ABN G Maab album and SLAB
Dougie a real one! My brother bumped into Dougie at a gas station on the southwest side and gave Dougie my number about working on some music and Dougie actually hit my phone at that time.
@@DeuceTreEnt we did, he gave me an opportunity and I'm forever thankful for him doing that. I Slowed & Chopped the Guerilla Maab "Evolution (6 Disc)" CD.
I remember seeing Dougie get real gangsta at the Flea back in the day. We was chopping it up about my big homie 3-11 from ABN and a Nigga pulled up tryna sale Dougie music right on the side of us. I looked at Dougie and he got right on dude ass. If it would have went that way I would have helped him 100 percent because of the love my big homie got for him. Love from the dawgs in West Texas City, Tx.
Growing up in Houston I thought DJ Screw UGK SUC SPC everybody was just getting paid just making millions of money never knew the true story behind how much these boys was underpaid in the city if it was by who sold the most albums and was the coldest rapper Scarface and k-rino be billionaires they paved the way hopefully the love is showed back to these guys
The love is always shown out man all throughout the state I'm here in dtown we always pay homage to Houston music don't worry..even in BET awards u heard Trae speech let these ppl know man how much rich history and underrated sound and influence them legends brought out ppl don't understand gotta know.. same with the exotic pop sodas if u check their IG videos when interviewed and they show the greats on their label..
@JayT I fuks wit tha maab but u can’t make that make sense. He had to just start if that’s tru or just came from a loss. It don’t take much for gas. I didn’t attack him personally on made up shit so how is that hatin
Donnie Houston when you invite the original. 11911, Kato w/ burglar bars, Stick 1 when 88 was Grey and Pee Wee wasn't cripple. When Pimp was selling my music at Russell spot flea market I seen alot of your shows. It's time. I am in the Midwest now, but always Sterling and 11911.
Dougie a solid nigga... Ran into'em at Sports Kingdom out here in Austin... Copped dat Guerrilla Maab Evolution off'em...6 disc set wit all they shit regular and screwed n chopped n I wanna say it was Dougie D Solo mixtape in there too.. Can't remember exactly... But we chopped it up fa bout 30 mins in da parking lot... I'm still mad I ain't have no smoke on me cuz he was tryina grab a sacc...#TexasLegend💯💯
dougie d always was my favorite. hate i missed u dj slowed up and youngsta when yall came to the funk to try to fuck wit me on the music. one day we gone make that jam.
Also I feel like if you don’t have the line up hopefully you can make it happen but Hump, D Wreck ,Big Pokey , Lil O , Lil Head or Woss Ness as a whole, street military an there’s more but also once you get into the nawfside an Michael Watts interviews now you’ve officially got the world locked in on H-Town culture am also the whole H that can be exposed on a home grown platform on things we didn’t know about on each sides keep doing ya thang homie I’m locked IN
@Donnie Houston since you’ve gotten Dougie side of the story an really I don’t feel like Trae or Zro gone say something about it see if you can get a interview with Taz I was locked up with him real solid dude like Dougie expressed it I know it won’t be much content but that will answer some questions from real fans
Aye man RNS minus being a rapper I’ve seen this man out with the youth on the field in youth football you don’t see many so far I’ll include Dougie( Southwest Marlins youth football) Scarface ( Southwest Steers) Lil Keke ( Cowboys youth football) even Zro ( The Bridge Seahawks) also Trae the Truth ( The ABN formerly The Cru youth football team) you can actually see them onsite now that’s RNS
Let’s be honest Z-ro was David Ruffin and they was Otis 😂 cause we put on the tapes to see what Ro had to say .. I grew up on them boys tho and learned to tolerate em
Not really. He trynna explain Ro and Trae without just airing out they personal business, he gave us the clearest insight of what being in a group with them was like
