Jordan, I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for doing them. You are a very, very fine wingshooter and I’m really impressed with your skill with a shotgun. One suggestion; when you do the close up “video in a video” view sometimes but not always you make comments (shot behind or too far out front” those are really helpful. If you could add a guesstimate on the yardage of the shot that would be helpful. It’s not always easy (or possible) to figure how far the birds are from the video. Thanks again.

Its amazing when loaded correctly what a .410 can really do. I spent this last year crunching ducks with mine shooting 13/16oz of #8 tungsten super shot from mine and dont notice any difference from using my 12ga except theres zero recoil and way less noise. And a box of shells weighs nothing and fits in my pocket

Great shooting and excellent way to set yourself up for success with your decoys and shot distances. A good plan and self discipline typically pay off in achieving your goal. I too agree with your choice of 6 shot.

I live in tx. And I love to dove hunt ,when I was a kidi used a 410. And could hit dove guys with 12 gauges would miss, damm shells cost so much these days. Nice hunt.

I haven't shot anything bigger than a 410 n 12yrs And using 2.5in shells Can't miss, but those 3in shells I miss all day long But can kill way bettr with 410 than a 12,now I'm shootin a 28g cause we hVe to use steel in California But if we could use lead 410s r a kick in the pants and love when fish &game shows up cause they don't have the tool to check for plugs in 410s Love it

I once shot a limit of 12 and thought I was doing pretty good until I counted my shells. Took me 37 shots to get those 12! I have since done better than that. Most fun was with a muzzle loader double! Love dove hunting!

I know your in central Kansas. But you sure have some hot dove fields! Here in east they haven’t cut much corn etc...we have to use the state Sunflower fields.

My Dove hunting took place in grape Vinyard, alfalfa and sagebrush in the middle of oilfields. Vinyard dove are sweet,alfalfa are faty sagebrush are lean and gamey. I imagine that sunflower are sweet and nuty.

That’s very good shooting. About 2 weeks ago I was north of you up on the Canada border and there were a lot of doves up there. So I think it may be possible that they are migrating through your area now.👍

My first shotgun was a a JC Higgins 20 gauge bolt action. It did not have a plug in it, so my dad cut a dowel rod and used a spark plug to hold it in because the bolt to hold it in was lost.

You'e not been out with Bobby, lately on a teal hunt, When are you going? Good little hunt for us last night, only a few flighted to that stubble that we told you about. A little good calling swung them around to the decoys of four small groups . One honker and three greys in the bag! Pity my nephew was drilling wheat in the next field and at the bottom of the stubble field, it put them off a lot but four in the bag, nevertheless. Only tried to take four that's enough plucking for Malc these days, any more is just OTT for him. Take care and enjoy the hunting season. Malc and Ann (England) UK xxx

Good video!! I shoot a 410 alot also. I have 2 mossberg 410's. 500 410 TSS turkey gun. SA 410ga TSS turkey gun. Both has screw in choke . Both guns only came with a xfull turkey choke. I bought all the chokes for them. I squirrel hunt 3 to 4 times a week. I also use my 410's on qauil and crow hunts. Only way i can shoot alot. I bought a mec 600 jr mark 5 410 3 inch reloader. Mite talk to a gunsmith he mite could tread your barrel. Have u shot a 28ga any? If u haven't look at getting one. I can find ammo at the Walmart in my area. I started shooting the 28ga. Dont kick little more shot than 410. But not by much fun to use.

I've got the same .410 I've been having a issue with it throwing unshot shells out the tube on bottom when chambering rounds. wondering if you have had any problem with yours.
