Not the Bridgeport I grew up in they let so much go wrong with this city..was so nice in the 60s 70s alot of good times grew up in PT Barnum went to Bassick and Harding high...they tore down too much of Bridgeports history and won't restore what's left..too many empty lots downtown..tore down and never rebuilt nothing in it's place..Bridgeport has no skyline look at Stamford skyline it has always been better than Bridgeport. No way should you ride threw Bridgeport on 95 and see this nothing but two tall buildings the two tallest in Bridgeport..get those fools out of office who are doing nothing for the city..no way Bridgeport the largest city in Connecticut should still be looking like this....PT Barnum Apt Bld 14...Bridgeport
What bittersweet memories this video brings me. I remember taking the busses where the old bus terminal used to be. Downtown looks so neglected now. In the 80s & early 90s it was so much more live with all the stores like Contempo, H.L Green and He & She clothing. Fleet bank on middle street was my bank. I'd like to see more vids please 🙏🏻

Dope dope video.. I salute.. I remember the old bus terminal both sides and alot of those old buildings in the late 90s before they completely became vacant were used for barbershops, small convenient sandwich newspaper stand stores and some were open briefly as a club and i also peeped the old Jamaican record shop called Klyassik Klymax that used to be there as well.. Im curious on what all the buildings originally were though, like in the 50s or 60s and also felt that they shouldnt of re painted the Davidsons sign.. I liked how it was originally, it was more vintage and looked more historical
Damn City Hall destroyed downtown then the other day bus 8 was driving through downtown and I was like damn it took all that for them to realize moving the buses off main St in the mid 90's was stupid as hell cuz it would kill the foot traffic?!
