Thank you so much for making so much of your work, both on this channel and now in this book, available to us for free! I am an undergrad student right now, not majoring in linguistics, but I'm working on my senior project which ties in themes from linguistics, and your lectures have been invaluable resources for me! I absolutely love this field of study, so thank you so much for making it so accessible!
Thank you so much Prof for this new book, really appreciate that... It helps many of us understand well about the grammar. You are awesome.... And, thanks a lot again to you & your univetsity for free download, it means a lot..... I haven't found the link yet, try to type your name & the book.
What an interesting book! Looks really well written and informative! As a linguist that wants to delve into construction grammar even more, I think that I found what I was looking for. Now Construction Grammar and its Application to English has its companion in my library! A big thank you mr. Hilpert for the amazing job that you are doing in this channel for both linguistic community and language aficionados around the world. :)
Such great news! Thank you very much for making this happen. I hope I can make my way up theoretically with this work before my PhD, so I can put it into practice analyzing diachronic change in Spanish. Thanks again!
Sir can you please explain "inter generational lexical variation in language" in bilingual society. Sir please give a lecture on it. In bilingual society how one language influence the other in older and younger generation.
Prof. Martin Hilpert, thanks a lot, this is simply awesome for me, a young learner of construction grammar or cognitive grammar. I am sure it is going to enrich my understanding. After reading it, may take time, I want to come again here to share my reflections. It means a lot to all levels of learners. Special thanks to the university, the University of Neuchâtel for making it free access, and Brill, the publishers too.
As an English linguistics grad student, I learnt a lot from Prof. Hilpert´s videos. I especially remember how his construction grammar explanations helped me to understand the usage-based approach. Now I am excited to read his new book. Thank you Prof. Hilpert for making it available to all of us!
I am just introducing myself to construction grammar and it is very different to past theories I've studied, but I am finding it very intriguing. Thank you for making these free! I look forward to listening to them.
@@MartinHilpert thank you for your clear answer. Are there any programs there online? To have the lessons with you? Or there is only in-person method? Thanks a lot!
@@КристинаПесочная For registered students, teaching is currently hybrid (in person with online option), but I'm afraid there are no online course packages that you could simply sign up for. Info on admission for bachelor and master programs can be found here: www.unine.ch/
