Another great build. Really like it. Only thing I would have done different is placing tourism specialization at the beach side to get in some large hotels on that side instead of residential. Seems like a logical place for hotels between the downtown and the beach. And it works great with all the tourist attracting buildings. But we'll see what you're planning with the beach front next time. Can't wait to see how it all turns out when the area is finished. Really love the skyline. Lots of inspiration for when I build my own downtown in the near future. Thanks once again for keeping us all inspired and entertained. Great work!
I've been a little down this week but then I was like "maybe watching somebody having the time of their life would help feel that way too". And then this video came 😅 you're really lovin' it, aren't you. 😄
I find that combining the new towers with IT Cluster and Green Cities High Density towers blending down with wall to wall buildings makes a nice transition from single family to large skyscrapers
Why it's so fun to watch you build cities: you are having a ton of fun with and love for your builds yourself. This skyline looks really good, it's so much 'more' in every aspect with the new CCP. Night time shots are awesome too, the korean assets are even bright enough to be the 'party area'. Looking forward to the other builds around this part of town, especially the beach one.
Egg, love the build, but look out for continuity through the Ped roads, some are cobblestone some are bluestone. The flow better when they are the same type. Love your work!
Looks great. Love the view from the park, up into the towers. You planning to use the new Recycling centre from HoK (spotted the recycling centre being dropped in 👀)?
I love how you hand placed each skyscraper. This pack lends itself to precision and expressing the most thoughtful placement possible. I would have wanted some unique and hyper iconic skyscrapers but as a collection of skyscrapers that kind of blend regardless which you place side by side (within the same height), these provide the greatest hand placement options.
To be honest, I am not a fan of skyscraper downtowns IRL, probably as I have never lived for a longer time in such a big city that had such a downtown and like less crowded places. But how you construct it and detail it, that is gorgeous. The new content creator packs do help a lot as well. Good that you also used the Hearts of Korea one.
I love this update, and the 2 CCPs, finally every city can look different, I already started creating a downtown office plaza with One Galveston and it’s variants mixed with the P&P DLC, waiting to see what Financial Districts have to offer next
I love that downtown skyline VERY MUCH!! Reminds me a lot of Downtown New Orleans, Louisiana in the states!! on one side, is an abandoned tower, and on the other side is relentless towers/skyscrapers.. Now that we have two different downtown districts and one AMAZING skyline, I guess the original one could be Old Town Noob Yolk and the new downtown could be Noob Yolk's Modern Financial district!!
Lovely episode! One thing that I want to request is that you consider adding some lighting mods, like softer shadows and render it, because the shadows in the new downtown are absurd 😂 I think since you are recording and visually sharing your city, it is justified even though this is a vanilla build.
@17:02, since this development happens over decades, its probable that you can have a tower that is medium, then a tall tower and another medium tower before the tallest towers in your skyline. Visually, I would have just removed 3 or 4 floors from the newest tall tower than switching and mandating such a rigid skyline. Inevitable a new tower’s placement, its height is probably determined by a myriad of constraints and it would be possible to have varied heights from your highest point (as you taper your mean height down).
A lot of « so goood » « amazing » « beautiful » « sooooo cool » « yes please » in this episode 😉. The pleasure you take in building this skyline is so good to see and hear. I think my smile stayed frozen for the whole episode 🤤. Can’t wait for the next part !
It would be nice if the skyscrapers would have multiple entrances if it borders more than one street. E.g a main entrance for the street where you placed it down and smaller entrances for pedestrians if the building borders the streets to the sides or back. That would be amazing for when the building perfectly fits inside a grid.

Hey Egg, noticed you have two different Tram - Ped roads otherwise great episode, but i can no longer build along as i dont have the creator pack just yet, so ill have to pause and start on another area 1st :)
I've found a few of the recent updates and DLC to be a bit buggy. I'm always having trouble hooking in the new underground metro stations. And the most recent feature is that the new buses are invisible if you are doing left-hand drive. They still work, but you can't see them. The Korea one is great though. I'd love to see you make a Korean district. ETA: Should have watched a bit further before commenting.
Everytime I watch. I wanna play, but all my dlcs are on my PC. Which the psu decided to blow, and with me being a dad of 4. I doubt I'll get another for a few years 😂

Dear egg, after the last dlc update I cannot start my game even though I think I have updated mod. Do you have a mod collection that works? I pla vanilla mostly.
My skyscrapers are as dark as yours and every now and then my garbage collection stops, also my pedestrian areas lose all cargo trucks and garbage. I delete all garbage and pedestrian areas service centers, let the game run then plop them back in and problems are fixed. Does anybody else have the same issues....?

The downtown skyline is now not restricted to gimicky uniques and IT-clusters. With all these mid-rise options, and new scrapers, flying sausages... you can really make something special. Really lovely extended downtown!! 🌇🏝🚋
