Childe did SO MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED! Additionally these are all c6 character and while hutao and ganyu have cracked constellations which highly increases their dps, childe has no such constellations so the dps difference between a C0 childe and C6 childe is not big at all. Really glad to see my favorite Snezanaya man still holding a strong position in the meta. -A very proud childe main

The difference between c0 and c6 Childe isn't that big compared to Hu Tao and Ganyu. The fact that he can compete shows how valuable he is at c0.

Kinda funny people still call childe trash. He is amazing to say the least, and whats more is that he is f2p friendly. You don't need any constalations to get a good dps, and even with a 4 star weapon (rust) and another f2p character (xiangling) he can basically carry you through the whole game. He is obviously not the best, but he is up there.

seeing as tartaglia isn't a main dps and is better enabling, it is still amazing he only lags behind by only a few seconds

The fact that childe is more of an enabler rather than a dps and still match hutao and ganyu on damage although not that good is impressive

I find it amazing how much Childe's time shortens when it comes to fighting more than one enemy. Back when Childe first came out, I disregarded riptide as anything important because people didn't really explain it that well at the time. Now we know that riptide is a core mechanic when it comes to Childe

can we get a dps showdown for burst-oriented characters? like raiden, eula and ayaka?

Lets not forget Childe is mainly used as an excellent enabler. In terms of dps he might lose to Ganyu and Hu tao but the other two cant enable like him. Yet im pretty amazed at Childe's performance as solo dps specially on AOE targets. As a good enabler with a solid dps , I think he is still pretty underrated and a misunderstood character overall. Edit since people are talking about ganyu: Ganyu probably can enable with her ult but its better to use her as a dps because thats what she is best at, using her ult can mess up her melt team and her ult doesnt enable anyone in her freeze team which is her best two teams.Her ult does have 100% uptime but her cryo application during ult is much slwoer than childe's hydro application. Of course Ganyu and Hu tao are both amazing but everyone already acknowledges that but i feel like Childe most of the times is misunderstood thats why i talked specifically about him here.

I hope they fixed those overlapping constellations Tartaglia have (his c1 vs c6 and Never Ending Vs Sword of Talents). If they replace this overlapping kit with kits that boost Childe's dmg, he'll do better.

i decided to pull childe despite having all the materials to level up hu tao to level 90 in one minute and hitting 200k straight away. definitely didn't regret my decision because i didn't have hydro dps and already have diluc :)

I know the “C5” runs weren’t that important but childe does get helped out a lot on his C6 because he resets his stance cool down and during the “C5” you switched with Zhongli and went back to childe melee stance without considering the cool down he would have because you switched which would add a good amount of time to his run other than that great video as always

It's fun seeing Ganyu again in these showcases. She's my most used character as well as my favourite, and it's a blast seeing her drop bigger and bigger numbers. It also gives me insight on different rotations I could use her in.

A little mistake I noticed in the c5 runs for the characters is that you actually activated childe's c6. You used childe for ~10-15 seconds, switched to zhongli and immediately switched back to childes melee stance after. This is because of his c6

At 17:38 if you look close enough to Childe's damage, he's doing 70-80k with his normal atk, multiple 20k damage. And ppl are still out here saying Xiangling showcase. Ppl can't understand that there can be 2 main DPS at a time

Hey iwtl, nice content as usual. But if I may add something, when you edit looped clips of stuff like a character pulling out their weapons or stuff like that, can you please make sure that it doesn't get too repeatedly flashy? I know its a small gripe but i often find that i have to look away from the screen most of the time because it's somewhat headache inducing, seeing lights flash repeatedly. I am probably a minority here, but i think there are atleaat a few others who echo this problem so just a minor head's up for future edits i suppose.

I have Hu Tao and childe on the same team, one for single target dps and other for aoe, Childe also benefits from the crit rate Hu Tao gives and they can trigger vaporize in some ocasions, Personally i dont like ganyu playstyle, i admit the numbers are impressive but in her trial and dungeon i feel like she doesnt have that funny playstyle im looking for
