Hey everyone, I've seen a lot of comments pointing out some valid concerns. I'll try to address some of them: Edit: My apologies to the Diluc and Xiao mains who seem to be very upset (if you were just providing constructive feedback, I appreciate it, this is for those that are much more salty). Overlooking Xingqiu's damage was an honest mistake. I've gotten used to not caring about support damage. Moving forward, I will most likely OMIT Diluc/Xiao entirely or spend twice as much time on them over the others in the future. For those complaining about how poorly I played Diluc or whatever, did you notice how poorly Qiqi's run went as well? Did you notice how poorly Hu Tao's run went? I'll do my best to represent Diluc and Xiao better in the future but I put my best foot forward for this challenge and some oversight is to be expected. 1. This video shouldn't be taken as gospel. This is simply one set of sample runs done by me and a couple of my friends. I am not saying "character A is better than character B". In order to make such a conclusion, we would need the entire community to do this and gather large amounts of data. This video does NOT do that. 2. I honestly forgot Xingqiu's damage was important in Diluc's team. Not sure how much time it could've saved, but this is a fair point. My Xingqiu is poorly built. I'm building him now to better represent Diluc in the future. 3. Mr 89's Xiao run probably has the most room to improve. This was just his best attempt with his Xiao in around 30 minutes. Mr 89's Xiao is well built (C6R5 8/12/10 iirc). 4. The event is gone so unfortunately, no more 2 million HP punching bag :(. I'd love to revisit the Diluc run after my Xingqiu is built, but alas. 5. Every run can be improved! Eula's run can be 1 second faster. Hu Tao's can be 1-2 seconds faster. Ganyu's can be 1-2 seconds faster. Admittingly, Diluc, Xiao, and Keqing probably have the most room for improvement.

Hopefully mihoyo releases a “training center“ for these type of tests

Do you notice the similarity in almost every clip: Bennett Maybe the real broken dps is the support they made along the way

The geo spam team hitting 60 sec is pretty impressive for only being able to do half of their dmg

Outside the top 3, team damage becomes much more important. It's also the reason why Qiqi's team is doing well. Klee and Childe team have an invested Xiangling while Diluc gets a level 50 Xingqiu that hits like a wet noodle (Look at Mr 89's Xingqiu in electro Keqing showcase, basically does at least 4x damage lol). Obviously, not gonna say that he will be better than the mentioned teams with Xiangling but his timing will significantly improve if Xingqiu is invested as well

When my f2p Xiao comes close to a whale's Xiao you know something's wrong. My c0 8-6-8 80 ascended Xiao plunges for 30-35k with bennett, Zhongli and 2 pyro at 60-230 crit with blackcliff. His is with pjws. Rn his attack is at 1680 normally and I think over 1900 with 2 pyro. I still don't have a good sands and goblet so a lot can be improved. His Xiao definitely isn't strong at all and his attack pattern isn't the optimal one either. I've seen whales plunge for 100k+ each time. I would've picked another whale to represent Xiao. Same with Diluc too. His Xingqiu is very weak. Supports are a big part of the damage in the teams shown and seeing that it isn't for him is weird. Again, I would've picked a better whale to represent him too. Overall, good video. I enjoyed it, but it looks like there are definitely some biases like other people have said.

tbf, xiangling and klee run is kinda cheating since they have 2 broken sub dps that deal alot of damage with them. For example, in xiangling run, childe dealt like 20k per hit and xiangling does like 80k vape, not to mention kazuha, meanwhile xingqiu on diluc team dealt like 1k on his raining swords. I like the vid but it is not really fair for some teams

I love Childe and Xiangling team comp the most, Childe's unlike other DPS that steals all the show. Both Xiangling and Childe share the same role, Idk it just feels very satisfying to see Xiangling's pyronado flying around and dealing shit tons of damage while Childe's riptide slashes enemies TT_TT

Was about to comment about the fairness of the video but saw the “disclaimer” you commented as well as tons of other people with the same opinion as I. Just please change the way the characters are represented in future videos as some fights seemed like there were a lot more effort that was put into while the others were just “attempted” (especially diluc’s) but as usually was nice to see how overpowered characters can get with the power of money. Keep it up :)

If you don't want to play or know how to play Xiao, you should just omit him. It'll be fine and less stressful than possible backlash. I'm surprised I have similar numbers to a whale Xiao as a c0 user though, god damn. Doing low plunge on single target is like C6-ing Hu Tao to only use auto-attacks.

Xiao's and Diluc's run are terrible. Xingqiu is clearly underinvested, leading to low damage on Diluc's vape comp. Mr. 89 clearly don't know how to play Xiao properly, he litterally threw his run away. While N1CJP is his best combo, wasn't used

great video and ik this is for entertainment but my f2p xiao deadass does way more dmg than that xiao. as a hutao and xiao main who has decent build on both it was very clear how strong some of the characters builds where compared to others if you know what I’m saying… again it was a great video but it kinda becomes transparent that because you like ganyu, hutao, eula, other waifus, you may become a bit biased? I’m sorry if I came off as offensive or rude ;-;

the xiao run was pretty terrible, it was obvious his normal attack wasn’t leveled up, which would be the most important factor against a single-target enemy. My c0 free-to-play xiao does 50k per plunge, so comparing a basically f2p xiao with EXTREME whale builds where hutao does 500k per charged attack is obviously really unfair

I feel like Diluc's Xingqiu is level 20. 1K per rain sword? No wonder it feels weak. While Qiqi out here having both Albedo and Fischl dealing 10k+ by themselves. Klee's Xiangling dealing 40k+ per pyronado hit. 🤣

Your vid always combines accurate part(likely 75%) with some inaccurate part(but very misleading) and surprisingly came out smooth by the way you put it. I can understand a single person can’t preform well in every characters but some part was just totally ridiculous. Such comparing c6 ganyu who favor single target, c6 eula but ignore her energy problem, including albedo’s dmg plus geo resonance to qiqi’s dmg and compare with xiao. Your result table will be much different if opponent just change from one to double geovishaps. I don’t have xiao and my main are Childe vaporize team and morgana so I don’t think I’m bias with this. I just hope I can fully enjoy your channel longer before there’s more content which provide less benefit than unnecessary drama.

my significantly weaker xiao (almost) matched the one in this run, and I had everything turned on. I expected xiao to at least do 30s here considering that you can have 100% uptime without CD increase. it would have been very useful if u calculated the % of potiential strength of the main characters in comp were at but i guess it would have been even more time and stress increase. great vid tho.

So in the Diluc Xingqiu run, there were around 12 rounds of rainswords per XQ burst released. It follows a 2, 3, 5 sword pattern which means 40 swords at least per burst or 80 swords in 2 burst rotation. You can see how significant the damage loss was because his XQ hit like shit. The shit XQ dealing 80 x 1.1K = 88K damage If decent built XQ 80 x 6K = 480K, and I know better builds have higher damages because my level 80 C3 XQ with the Kazuha swirl 882 EM buff deals 6.4K damage and I have shit artifacts. My Kazuha is also C0 and only Iron Sting. Imagine having C2 Kazuha with Freedom Sworn as support! XQ whale built probably hit 8 to 10 K per sword Not to mention since he's that bad he couldn't do the Vaporize damage from Xingqiu's E which should be dealing like 100K+ for whales. Showing this clip of Diluc irks me. It doesn't matter if he wouldn't beat Xiangling team time with a well invested XQ. But here you made the Diluc Vape look utter shit. If he cuts time for 10 seconds, not beat the other team, I'm perfectly fine with that as long as the team was able to bring their best. Look at the Xiangling team, Childe doing those numbers as a support. And like he mentioned, Kazuha boosts both Hydro and Pyro. Diluc's team didn't have him. If at least he could have pointed out all the flaws in that run, or just not show it at all. I'm just really disappointed. I really love this channels way of presenting damage comparisons, even calculating dmg potential to make sure they're even in previous videos. But how could you let that Diluc video be in this comparison? Shouldn't your standards be better? Well hopefully this can be fixed in future videos like this and once an event like this returns. Please take this as constructive criticism. I really love this channel.

Now do a showdown w/ these characters against multiple targets in the future. The spiral abyss which is currently one of the game's endgame content has always more than 1 enemy. This is the reason why most theorycrafters value damage dealers who can kill multiple enemies in a short period of time. You don't need millions of damage if you ended up killing just 1 treasure hoarder.

That xiao showcase is just bad, so much things that can be improved but people will see this as "xiao isn't as meta as qiqi huhu".

The case is bad for Xiao because almost all of his constellations are useless against a single boss. But the Xiao's combo was not properly done, and have so many rooms to improve there. I had a dps test with my Xiao too (he has C6r2) and the time was about 56s.

Ik this video is supposed to be just for entertainment, but I think it's important to keep in mind that characters like hu tao are extremely single target, and would therefore do exceptionally well in disposing one enemy. Teams like the Childe-xiangling vape comp does seem like it's slower than hu tao, but in aoe situations the gap between the two would be much smaller.

Great video! In the future could you also include Yanfei as well? I know she is pretty much just a lower-quality Klee, but she is one of the best four star dps imo...

What the heck was that Xiao run? A C6 Xiao doing none whale damage and who controlled that one, doesn't look optimal plunges and rotation. Look how much of Bennett's ult he wasted because he activated it too soon when Xiao's burst wasn't ready? How do we know if these characters all have the same level of investments and talents? And Diluc's Xingqiu hit like meh as well. Does that Xingqiu even have artifacts? 1000 dmg per sword. Not even 7K for whales? Look at the Xiangling and Childe comp. Childe hits with big damage as well even if he's the support. So he helps Xiangling a lot too. I'm not saying Diluc team will beat the Xiangling team but this is no way a fair showcase. I hope you can repeat this test for the lower tier teams and make sure everyone in the team performs their best.

Xiao was not treated fair enough compared to Qiqi, who got 3 sub dps characters besides her charged atk dmg. In this video, Xiao literally did 50k-70k per hit alone with just Bennett's but I have no ideal how Qiqi who did around 10-15k charged dmg per hit ( two hits on each her charged atk ) could outperform Xiao? And yes, from what I saw, that was the dmg from 1 ultimate and 2 pillars of Zhongli, 1 Albedo's elevator, 1 ultimate and Oz from Fischl. If you don't trust me, slow the speed of this vid a little bit at times they thrown skills and see how much dmg the Primo Geovishap took upon those skills aside from Qiqi's performance. This thing overrated Qiqi to the level she's not supposed to be in, please give a fair judge if you want to overrate Qiqi. Tbh I do not hate but love Qiqi's background and her attitude in the story but this way is far from loving her by giving a lot more advantage than other characters.

That was a pretty interesting showcase, have a sub towards your 100k. :) Still, I would've loved to see some less popular DPS choices like DPS Venti, C6 Yanfei, C6 Fischl with her new bow or a 5* one, C6 Amber... Mostly because when it comes to the popular DPS beatsticks we already had a pretty good idea of where they stand even before this video. So it was more of a confirmation than new info imo. The only surprises were Qiqi and Physical Zhongli for me.

i'm amazed that Ganyu is keeping up with the one shot characters with the over 1 million dmg ultimates. She's already the best sustain aoe dps and most versatile dps character in the game, but she can also perform just as well as Eula and Hutao in single target situations. Because of this, she has way more value compared to either Hutao or Eula imo.

I'm a bit confused with the rotation in the xiangling and childe score, maybe there is some sort of whale reason to it but you could have used bennett q before kazuha to infuse his ult with pyro instead of hydro. Doing so lets you do a couple of meaty stuff like vaporizing the riptide burst from childe q which lets him nuke harder and on top of so letting you vaporize kazuha swirls for more damage (the swirled vaporizes don't crit but its still pretty good). Since childe applies so much hydro, he doesnt really have to panic about kazuha pyro infusion and xiangling q outpacing his hydro aura like you might would with xq so it feels like there is no reason to infuse kazuha with hydro instead. Again there could be a reason I am unaware of like some sort of 5 star constellation, but I hope you can consider this on future test runs with this comp!

Ranking characters based on only single target DPS, a niche clearly occupied specific units Glaringly unequal levels of investments on the units and team comps showcased Inefficient rotations/combos on certain characters (especially Xiao) Can’t help but think about how this video is so misleading in determining the overall strength of units, especially for F2ps who will have a vastly different experience with zero constellations and f2p weapon options

This isn't really a fair test at all, considering all the teams have different units and resonances. There is no control condition here. Qiqi's test is an egregious example of this as you have albedo and Fischl doing the bulk of that damage. If anything, this is more of a team comp test than a character test.

Im sorry my dude, but this entire video is extremly misleading, please at least include your artifact builds for each character so people can see the relative power levels of the units. The fact that on one clip you're using a lv50 xingqiu thats doing 400 dmg per rainsword, and then there's another clip where its invested and doing 5k per rainsword is so incredibly misleading i dont even know what other word to use.

It's very interesting to see and I would also like to know how these characters were built; perhaps, you could even post the damage potential percentage of these characters as you did in your other videos so I and some other viewers can judge who's stronger than who. I can offer my Xingqui and Diluc for your showcase next time if you need a c6 Diluc that is mained and invested, even my Xiao when he is finished (he isnt yet), they are well built and my Diluc is triple crowned. I know sadly many turning their backs on them.:( Hard to showcase them if they arent invested or cared for.

this comparison is a bit weird. maybe get more guest who really main the characters. so that we know the characters are maxed, and they know how to play them. also show their talent levels and stats next time that plays a huge part in comparing.

Title Rename: 3 whaled triple crowned characters vs The rest with no investment 💀

Clearly, Qiqi run was unfair. You employed 2 (perhaps well-built also) sub-dps characters: fischl and albedo. You even cast your whale Zhongli's Burst (144k dmg) on her DPS showcase while you did not on Xiao's. On top of that, there are three geo constructs pulsing around the boss on qiqi's showcase which dealt a significant amount of DPS while xiao was fairly doing all on his own. In other words, it wasn't a Qiqi DPS showcase. ALso, builds and talent levels of each characters should be showcased too.

Is it just me or was that Xiao played badly? A bunch of the plunges were low plunges, and the best single target combo is N1 -> CA -> High Plunge, if I'm not mistaken.

No artifacts showcase, DPS of some featured character was not really highlighted, some runs are questionable, other runs became a "team" dps showcase. I'm a fan of his other showcases but this one is really off

Before everyone goes trashing Xiao, just remember that he is made for area dps not single target. Say he does 40k per plunge (thats what mine does without Benny buff) and can plunge 11-13 times in an ult. Thats about 480k on average. Thats alll I have to say. (Btw dont listen to the video as a comparison to Eula bc its not very reliable. They did a c3 Xiao to a C0 Eula. This isn’t really fair even if C3 Xiao only really is there for the extra charge of his e. He does give Eula Adeptus Temptation and Childes passive to make up for it but by then the comparison is completely unreliable. The only thing to take from the video is the point it puts across about Xiaos ult.)

lol that xiao is weak (plunge attacks), my c0 pjws xiao w/ 10/9/9 talent level, with lucky-unlucky artifacts (hp,hp%,critrate,crit dmg) can do 50k-60k per plunge with bennet, sucrose w/ ttods, and mona. i have around 75-80% crit rate, 175-180% crit dmg (i don't remember exact numbers) and 2000+ atk. my mona and bennett's ult isn't even maxed yet. (level 8 ult). in theory i should be able to reach 70k per plunge if i maxed out all of my support, and hopefully god artifacts. Edit: i forgot to mention that a c6 xiao should exceed the damage numbers I have, I've seen other maxed out builds that reached beyond 100k per plunge consistently without any food buffs

its worth pointing out that the xingqui with diluc was absolutely pathetic batman needs his robin IWTL

Great video! It's good to see several showdown on different locations, because some characters are better than others with multi-target or single target! It also gave me many team ideas! It's great to see that tier lists doesn't matter, and any character have a location where it shine. Just look at Xiao not doing great here, while he is one of the top 3 in abyss.

very good showcase as always, the only thing i find weird is xingqiu's damage with diluc. Since the double dps teams like childe and xiangling / klee and xiangling were both invested, i feel xingqiu wasnt properly invested for this case. But still a very good video.
