Ya unfortunately yelans auto targeting for her burst does not aim for the crabs shield hitbox, only for his regular body hitbox, it was totally done to nerf her ability to break its shield.

The pyro crab's shield actually has a "height" that makes Characters like: Mona, Kokomi, and Xingqui have a really easy time breaking the shield of the pyro crab. Xingqiu's blades shoot out really high up making it able to hit the pyro crabs horns, unlike yelan's Ult which despite spawning 1 right above your head actually aims at its body more than its horns. This results in yelan having a hard time hitting its horn. "Oh but her E can hit the horn cause it explodes hydro right?" Well, sadly no... she only hits the crabs body which makes it really awkward to use her against the crab, xingqiu Hits it because his E hits twice and one of them hits upwards which allows him to hit the shield. Kokomi and mona have really big application range with mona's charged and E, while Kokomi's E can just sit on top if it and break the horn cause of how long it lasts. This also makes Neuvillette pretty good against the crab actually cause you can just aim at the horn😅

Neuvilette is truly one of the few characters that can genuinely say “built different”. I honestly am glad I decided not to skip him and pulled all the way to C1R1 it was well worth it. To think that this dude doesn’t even have his best support yet and is about to get even more busted.

Childe Abuse by Neuvillette is not only fun but absolutely Cannon as well

Also keep in mind that Furina is on her way which is going to make Neuvillette even better. Scary to think about...

The constellation powercreep is big with this one. Interesting to see how much they can innovate with their cons overtime to still make them feel worthwhile on new characters.

And Neuvilette don`t even have a real team. Current ones are just placeholders till Furina and co step in. Neuvilette and Wriothesely gonna be my first C6R1 event 5-stars i think. I straight out love their aesthetics, animations, character and playstyles. Most unique characters in my view.

We need to talk about 2 things, 1) This guy got sponsored by a university, 2) This guy wrote a essay to prove that neuvi is wearing a jackey

One thing I discover about these speed runs especially at c6 is that it has gotten to a point where it more about who has faster animation time than dps because removing animation time, they are very close in dps at c6

I'm surprised that Yelan is the "slowest" here. But, then I immediately remember that she's a sub dps and not forcing you to play her onfield.

C6 shenhe synergy with c6 Wriothesley is really ridiculously good both ganyu and ayaka do not make great use of her c6 at least in same level of Wriothesley c6

Crab shield is the little volcano horns I believe. So if it doesn't hit those it doesn't reduce the shield. Thus Yelan's Q activation hits it, but not combo attacks after.

How about a DPS showdown against the ‘Local Legends of Fontaine‘? Just to compare how much damage each jacket does in a single cycle. I think they can't solo them, right? Right?! Speedrunning is nice and interesting, but I'd also be interested in the max-damage output each one does. 🤔

Despite having slower times than each other once you isolate tbe gameplays from time it's incredibly fast and really shows how good you are at the game good job

Yelan c6 has been the absolute top dps for a long time and the moment she gets dethroned.. Yelan simps: Well, she's actually a sub dps.

Neuvillette is the goat. There is not even the need to slam buttons just stand in a spot and laser a hole into the enemies.

I made the choice to get neuvillete over wriothesely for a couple reasons but I’m kinda addicted to beaming things to the floor, my favorite thing is to find a large group of enemies either in combat events or just in over world and fire venti burst and then beam them, I find it even more satisfying than the ayaka venti combo

The shield of that crab is on top of its shell a.k.a its horn like things. Doing elemental reaction (surprisingly electro can take down its shield too) aiming it to its two horns (pyro canon?) makes it easier to take down its shield. Tip:- if you have difficulty in aiming for the horn , atk from his front side when he sits/lays down to launch pyro atks, this automatically leads your aim to its pyro shield. (I have tried this with Raiden's burst and yelans burst ..it works well .. I'm not sure about other characters though, you can try it and reply here saying if it works or not 👍) Its also the reason y Neuveillette took down it's shield easily in the above video, as his atks are directed towards it's horns.

If you had aimed up with a Yelan charged shot one more time, it would've broken the shield and led to a faster time.

For Yelan’s run, you can charged shot at the crab’s shield using the breakthrough barb from a charged attack to apply Hydro. Yelan’s Elemental Burst does not target the crab’s shield thing

You've probably alr been told, but just in case: the pyro sheild on the crab is the red thing on its shell, because Yelan kept autotargetting the body, whilst the breakthrough barbs aoe dmg reached the hitbox (i think) Yelan's burst attacks can't reach the sheild. Neuvillette's hydro beam is so large, it reached the crab's sheild hitbox by accident (You also did aim up with Neuv's CA so yeah) hope it hepled :)

The results really surprised me, I didnt get neuvilette because I dont have a character suitable for neuvilette as a support. I am sad that i regret because for not pulling, but even though the one shown here is c6, the results are incredible, it seems obvious that it will turn into a monster with Furina, for the first time I see a character that can surpass Yelan in most parts in c6 comparisons.

Neuvillete is just a brain dead gaming, and I love him for it.

Wriotesley has pyro resonance, Neuvilette has hydro resonance and two different elements for dragon mechanic , Yelan with her passive witch literally requires different elements to boost your hp (total damage) was running MONO hydro! Great chose of the teams 👍🏻

Man, if those DPS showdowns were made using C0 characters and included their relevant C1/C2/C6 upgrades as a side thing, they would be literal perfection in terms of genshin content for me.

i think C6 Yelan still have the Highest Frontload Damage but her damage tied to her Burst, after she shoot all of her C6 shots, her overall damage decreased by a lot. unlike Yelan, Wriothesley that can work without his burst and have kinda stable damage. Neuvillette is just straight up Monster

I suspected that Neuvillette is now the strongest main DPS in the game and this showcase kinda proved that. A big thing is that Neuvillette is very powerful even at C0 (although C1 is a significant upgrade) while Yelan needs C6 to even be a main DPS and Wriothesley seems to get a large bump in power from his C6 as he is much less impressive at lower constellation levels. It was nice seeing a DPS showcase again after so long.

I actually have all 3 and 2 of their signature weapons (Yelan and Neuvillette). 2 of them came unluckily (Neuvillette and Wriothesley) at ridiculously low pulls when trying to build Pity. But watching this makes feel less regretful

Neuv is just insane. He has just everything needed in this game. No wonder he is the BEST dps in the entire game. NOT only bcus of dmg, ofc. His dmg is still comparable to other 5* dps in the game, or maybe even lower bcus his dmg ceiling is lower in whale investment (cant use bennet, no one-hit nuke, etc.) but mhy compromise it with high dmg floor so lower investment is already very good. Aside from that, he has heals (even tho not perfect) and ease of use. hes just sooo much easy to use. u literally just hold one button 😂😂😂. And being hydro makes him so versatile. He has so much team comp that can use him or can subtsitute other char in a team. Hes just insane mann, i WILL pull him in his rerun, but gotta skip him for now bcus i want to get wrio first
