These "public officials" need to go work customer service in a supermarket. You will see plenty of rude people. If you are rude or condescending back to them, you will be written up or fired. In the private sector, there is zero tolerance for poor employee behavior. Why is it any different on the taxpayer dollar? Why do we (as a society) accept lower standards for people on the taxpayer dime than we do for minimum wage cashiers?
