I have never been more proud of the King heirs than at this moment. I always wonder what they are currently doing to further the Legacy of their father and beautifully dedicated mother. I applaud her for the courage to stand against her brothers in that moment and to withstand whatever battle she has had to endure. What a remarkable moment!! I remember when I was in the third grade, and I was in a home where domestic violence and alcoholism was a normal thing to my parents. On that morning at school, it was library day. The teacher told us to check out two books, and the library had thousands and thousands of books, but somehow I ended up on the aisle that had Martin Luther King books. One of the two books I checked out was about Martin Luther King. When I read that book, my life changed, and even though my parents were fighting there own demons, an angel(Martin Luther King) spoke to me with the words in that manuscript, and nobody will be able to take this away from me, they can't sell it, pawn it, or bargain with it. This is priceless. R.I.P Martin Luther King. I love you. I am I because you were you.

Amen Sister...some things are sacred and should not be for sale. Those items (Nobel Peace and the Bible) are priceless. To sale them suggest that they have a price.. Dr. MLK Jr. did not allow himself to be for sale and I am sure many tried to buy him but instead he earned the Nobel Peace Prize with blood, sweat, tears and great sacrifice. I rather see the items donated as a priceless gift to an institution that Dr. MLK would support rather than to tag them with a price. More so I rather them stay where they are. Today February8,2018 in black history I'm wondering about the selling of Dr. King personal items, as well as Mrs, Coretta Scott King personal items and letters. Somethings you can never put a price tag on I feel sorry for the judge who doesn't understand. Bernice is right, she is very compassionate and outspoken which makes her a person of many good characters, I feel her spirit when she speaks , I'm reminded of the time when my father who is now deceased separated from my mother because of some abuse and dysfunction in our family the only thing he took with him were our family Bible, It had a lot of sentimental value for him because it had recorded events dates of family members birthdays, marked passages in the Bible in my father handwriting etc. so I understand what Bernice is feeling unfortunately you are tested by some family members who only push you further to do what is right and just even though it hurts. Let's pray for justice in an unfair superior court system and remember we all have issues but when you are right We stand together against principalities in high places ,

Those sacred symbols and all they represent urgently need to be put in focus internationally. This would perhaps help to ensure that our society continually appreciate the moral and civil gains the movement led by Dr. King brought to our world. So sad that such symnols etc. haven't functioned as a powerful spiriual weapon to rid society of depravity, familial and otherwise! This year my bible was stolen along with some precious dressings of clothing and writings that were inside my Bible that Kevin Victor Todd had given me as a gift which was what I needed because it was a large print Bible for those who has problems with small print. I hope that justice can be still for the truth and for the real reasons why these items were stolen with the 24 can cooler rolling bag it was in at the time when I had been on the Chicago Transit Authority Red Line Train traveling to a temporary destination due to homelessness. Pray for the connection of TRUTH.

Ms. King, you and you're siblings sold your father's papers to the City of Atlanta for $32 million, and with the utmost respect wouldn't you want your father's Papers, Traveling Bible and Nobel Peace Prize preserved at the Dr. Martin Luther King Monument or the Smithsonian Museum? Ms. King, no one can speak for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and not all prayers are answered!
