@@distinctloafer he was my HS orchestra teacher and we are friends, he talked to me right after doing this exact episode, he knew beforehand that Conan was going to rip into him a bit and was just happy to show people what he spent so much time doing and loving! He had a lot of fun.
I couldn't believe when I saw this but Dr. Stuckenbruck was my violin teacher when I was in 6th and 7th grade! One of the most genuine and smartest teachers and men I have ever met.
Yeah, the leeks weren't his best work. I know him and spoke with him afterwards, he was panicking on the inside when the leeks weren't producing the sound he normally got out of them.
This man is adorable and i love his out of the box approach to musical instruments. He is definitely a great teacher and im sure the instruments sound great in an orchestra.
WHAT DOES THE COCONUT DO? Come on, Conan, that butternut squash was hilarious, it sounds like old-timey cartoon soundtrack. Dr. Stuckenbruck needs to pay the show another visit, and bring his orchestra with him, maybe at some point make lots of squeaky noises to get back at Conan for being so mean. Best guest in a long time, honestly.
He was my teacher as well and he is a legend. He's unequivocally the most inspiring and loving teacher I have ever had in my entire life, if only you knew. And he isn't like a vegetable orchestra guy, he is a master musician and teacher who happened to use vegetables at one point to help kids learn and have fun at the same time.
I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Dale. He didn’t have us use vegetables, but he is certainly a wonderful guy and an excellent teacher! It was an amazing experience.
