Health needs to be a continuing ongoing education. Especially in the church. "my people perish for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6"

Growing up I had a severely violent alcoholic father and a mother who was a schizophrenic alcoholic. From age 6-26 I was sexually abused by over a hundred men/sex trafficking; I was molested all through my elementary years by the men that my mother took me to. I was kidnapped for 14 months as a teenager and human trafficked again, and my parents never reported me missing. Then when I was rescued my Mom forced me to have an abortion and I have never been able to have children. Then as a young adult I was stalked, drugged, beaten, video-taped, humiliated, and blackmailed for $30,000. I became self-destructive with alcoholism, drugs, and an eating disorder...intentionally become overweight=unattractive to any more rapists. In 1993 I finally heard my salvation message in 1 Timothy 1:15-16, about Saul being the worst of sinners had become the Apostle Paul. Through many years of counseling, recovery groups and Deliverance Ministries, God broke off many demonic spirits in my life. I had volunteered for 6 years at pregnancy centers and now for the last 13 years I'm in Prison Ministries. Praise God! Because of a 24 year eating disorder, I began losing all of my weight by doing Intermittent Fasting: which is condensing all of my daily calories into a 6 hour window lunch at 11 and dinner at 6. I feel very satisfied, and then my body is able to burn body fat during the other 16 hours. My plan was to lose 52 pounds a year which is only 1 pound a week. It has now easily been coming off at about 8 pounds a month since doing the Intermittent Fasting. I have cut out Everything that has Any Sugar, Dairy, Salt, Wheat Gluten and now I'm off all medications for 8 years! By cutting out all the costly junk food, it allow me to buy delicious organic white meats, seafood, fruits and veggies for the same monthly budget! Challenge... Calculate how much you actually spend every week on junk food, Starbucks, restaurants. They only make you hungery for more, because it's so addictive. The ingredients that always make us feel hungry because it of course has almost zero "nutritional value" in that 2,000 calories, so your body tells us it's still hungry. By the way the only exercise I do is a 50 minute Water Aerobics 3x week for old ladies.

I think it’s because we don’t drink, smoke or do drugs. Food is legal. It’s as if they must do SOMETHING fleshly - so they overeat the wrong things. Many Christian fellowship activities also involve people bringing tons of unhealthy food to events. Ladies will actually compete to see whose dish gets gobbled up and is most popular. That means adding in lots of sugar. But gluttony is just as bad as other addictions in God’s eyes. I think we Christians would attract a lot more new believers if we were fit. But they look at us and say “I don’t want to be fat like them.” We don’t look much like overcomers in many cases...

Hypocritical or rash judgments are forbidden, not all judgment. Life is impossible without constant judgment.

Maintaining a healthy weight is all about balancing calorie intake with calorie use. If you eat more than you burn, you're going to gain weight - it's as simple as that. The only answer that works is self-control. No diet can make you eat right - only you can do that. People need to realize that they are in control of what they put in their mouths, and they need to start exercising that control. If they don't, they will end up as gluttons, and if you're a Christian, gluttony is a mortal sin. It's just as sinful as lust, greed, envy, pride, or any other mortal sin.

This video represents all that s wrong with nominal Christianity. One of them may be addicted to porn, and the other does malice against his brother. Everyone has something in their life that they want victory over. The woman caught in adultery (but not the man) was brought to Jesus in a bid to trip him up. He leaned down in the sand with his finger, then said "he who is without sin cast the first stone". And one by one each walked away, why? Because all of us are guilty of something(s).

our job is to be judged?.Where the hell does it say that?. What gives you the right to make up stuff out of thin air? Your JOB is to go back to your book, and read the thing.

No No No.It's because we are taught not to regard this life at all, in any way, (including our inviroment), and only look to the future with God in the next life!!!!!
