@@anapaulacastro647 are you serious? 🤦🏼♀️ "Non Believers there ain't none, I even make the bitches I rape cum." He's saying he's so good he will Force haters to like his music. Eargasm.
What makes me mad is that everyone says he's great in songs like this, yet when he raps with that same passion today people accuse him of being "old and angry" or "yelling at the mic". He's as great as he's ever been.
I think he's Better now, fr. Lyrically, he can change flows 5 times in 1 song, and how he uses his voice and relays emotion. I know he's not as "raw" but his skills are incredible
i can understand people saying he's yelling at the mic cuz it's kinda true specially if you listen to recovery for example he's clearly yelling at the mic for too long ,here you can't complain about him yelling cuz it's what te songs demands it got that hard vibe and the way his verse is going crescendo is perfect . IMO he did yell too much at the mic for a period of time but it's not that bad lately specially in "killshot" for example so and sorry but you can't say Em is as great as he's ever been that's incrediblly uncorrect
I showed this song to a somewhat newcommer to the rap scene the other day at work on one of our HEAVIEST sound systems after we closed, and the kid was BLOWN AWAY by Dre's production. I told him to check out all of Dre's stuff since he's a legendary producer lol
I swear to god, at this point I don't even feel like it humanely possible to rap eminem does, this man will go down as THE greatest of all time, no mf can deny that for real real
To deny this.....It's like if they(the deniers) were to watch a football game where 2 of the best football teams played, but the opposing QB throws 10 TDs with 800 yards in said game with 7 different WRs with 100+ yards, they would still somehow deny it happened or broke records. Just because they're rooting for the home team :| which means: you're not a football fan at all, just riding on a bias foundation.. aka, bandwagon fan. In this case, Rap/Hip Hop bandwagon fan. aka mumble rap fans, aka I need downers to feel normal because I'm mentally broken.. ahhhhh, music...
2:45 That is honestly one of the hardest drops I have ever heard in a rap song. The build up, the lyrics, the beat. That is up there with one of ems greatest verses no doubt.
this song is about their ups and downs in their own rap careers. stop comparing it to more serious songs and just enjoy this shit. Em went too hard for anyone to be hating.
I like when Eminem does his deep voice angry flow, he's in his prime when it comes to doing complex flows, he murdered this song, Phenomenal, Chloraseptic (both versions), Caterpillar, now his flow is untouchable unless if he's in a pop song, back then he was in his prime in his rhyming technique but this flow was never the main focus of the song, it was his rhyme making and his flow was barely good enough to put then all together, it was his voice that boosted the goofy psycho vibe of his lyrics which made him popular, but his flow is better now and he murders every other rapper
you never bumped a single J. Cole track, I dont hear eminem speaking on social, or political issues. so how could he compare to those who do? he isn't in a lot of leagues, every rapper has their places and reps it well.
+Shadow Venom Gamer what about riff raff? Surely you could appreciate his comical approach towards the current rappers. what about logic? G-eazy? also, dont bring up his simple lyrics as a counterargument because tupac held simple rhyme schemes as well, west coast always had rhythm as their strength. J. Cole is great, so is Kendrick, but you could compare to agree who does it better.
@@enceofthewind4145 True man, I love his rhyme schemes and the vibe on Relapse 🤩 If you're into wordplay btw, check out my latest track here on my channel and see how many of the references and the wordplay you get.. It's what I call "Nerd Rap" lol, 2 min long with lyrics on screen too😉
W4NƉƎR Mathers I personally prefer Relapse over any album of his, since his wordplay was very good, although not as good as it is now, and his flow was in my opinion the best he's ever had consistently. If you don't mind horror-core, and you like variety in terms of voices or accents, Relapse is one of the best. My favorites on that album are Underground, Stay Wide Awake, and Music Box. Love that album as a whole though, very underrated from a skill point of view.
I had Eminem 's verse cut to a single track and put it on repeat in a closed inside basketball court for practice at 1am in the morning...almost died. Got way to hyped.
@@mikeott6252 haha Id have to redo the snip, I deleted the file awhile back. You can do it though on any basic music editing software phone or computer.
@@RzVids that's another level of the diss. Em makes it clear he's not worth getting mad over. And he destroyed him just flipping RD, he didn't even open his wiki page lol. Killing him That casually sent a Big message to other rappers.
Livia Kai he went hard on not alike baited him ,then made him look a fool on killshot psychologically playing with his mind.then left him dangling .just genius 💞🐐
Plus, notice k(arm)a And setter(head) sound the same the er don't or set, but together half it does. Its 3 words in 3 words lol. Em is a genius. Also-(gheddon)/sounds like gettin...also alos... Let's not for get the arma(amour gettin) Em truly is a genius.
Is it his voice or the way he spits it? Jesus he literally is the best rapper alive. I get so excited when I hear shit from eminem. Hes just got a brain that is out of this world.
How can anyone with a right mind not give Em the top spot. The fact he even still has words to say that blow your mind more than 20 years later should say it all.
I feel like his last decade kinda stained his legacy and people aren't even considered him top 10 anymore. I have him top 10, not the top spot, and this song just shows how lethal em is at his best. I don't believe em be trying when he does a lot of his punchlines and they come off corny, but when they are actually thought out and em is actually trying to put out a great verse, he up there with the best. My problem with him is he don't be trying most of the time and he's not focused.
+Uncle Drew Hmmm. I fuck with the beat , hook and flow....Its just the autotune on dres verse that I don't fuck with. Em completely obliterated that problem though...
@@sexymexijesse hmm Great reference with amazing flow 🔥🔥...this might be eminem's best verse of all time..the only verse that comes close is "best friend" by Yelawolf ft Eminem 🔥🔥
@@GarryG Been the Doctor's assault riffle with the sniper scope for this whole time. Day one Say when to blast, give me the order I spray (uh) Pain In the ass, you'll get shot in the ass with a paint gun. Ain't no one safe from, none believers there ain't none *I even makes the B###**#es** I R### Come* "I even make the B####es I R### Come..." Jesus Christ that last line was so hard that they had to censor it 🐐
If you like trying to catch lines that you might have missed (like the gopher one) you should check out 'Unabashedly Reggie'. He does a lot of breakdown analyses of Eminem's verses. I just binge watched most his videos, and it gives you a bigger appreciation of how crazy Em's internal rhyming and metaphors are. He really is like a human encyclopedia.
Obie trice - we all die one day jay z - renegade yelawolf - best friend dre - what's the difference 50 cent - patiently waiting drake kanye Wayne - forever the game - we ain't jadakiss - welcome to d block trick trick - welcome to Detroit tech9ne - speedom bad meets evils - vegas T.I - all she wrote B.O.B - airplanes pt 2 Eminem knows how to slay a feature 100
Jack Brown I would agree apart from the Speedom verse - personally I thought they were all equally as good as eachother. If not, Krizz held his verse down ❤️ but apart from that, Marshall slays everything he's on
Em‘s line‘s fkn epic!!!!! That line was the opening of his europe tour. I was there and i still can‘t believe..!!!!! Guys! If u have the chance go to his concerts JUST DO IT! There‘s no artist doin better!!!!!!
I live in America and it seems like he does more tours over in Europe :( I did see him years ago on his tour with Jay Z which was the best concert of my life hands down
Makes me laugh when people say, "Eminem shouldn't have lyrics like that now, he's the same age as my dad" I'm pretty sure he's always been the same age 😂
Dude this song reminds me of why eminem is and will forever be my favorite rapper of all time and ppl really say wayne is more lyrical than eminem??????? Smh
+mitchel cambell his breathing, his flow I hear ya, wordplays murder and every studio verse he puts out is a fkn workout to say the least, master of his craft, give respect...
+Spokehead82 he hides the breathing, plus sitting or barely moving and rapping doesnt make breath control different, he's killing himself when performing you could see his veins and face turn red, all I want to do is get up on stage and scream "breath!!!"
Anyone who says that is actually saying he's sucked since TES (Encore isn't "Bad" though). So 17 yrs later he's the 4th most consumed artist of 2018 (5th of 2017) only behind Drake, Xxxtention, and Post cuz he had a great 4yr run? So dumb.
@@Аянп-н5л ya'll keep saying that lol. I agree many albums, songs and artists get accolades they don't deserve. That doesn't happen for 20 yrs though. It isn't easy keeping the Worlds attention. So numbers, in the long run, shows the world loves the music you make.
+BoB Boho Tupac is a king. Kings fight for the crown, and people challenge their claims. Tupac was constantly challenged. No one. Challenges. Eminem. Not to mention, gods don't interfere in the affairs of mortals and Eminem usually tries to leave shit between the two people who are actually beefing (an exception is back when he inherited 50's beef with Ja, but that irrelevant fucker was destroyed). If you actually look at what a god and a king are meant to be like and act like, Eminem is the god of rap, he has ascended past other rappers by leagues. Not to discredit Tupac, he was a good rapper but he didn't bring anything special to the game but a beef that just got a lot of people killed, and some good lyricism along with a great message. But if the skills of rappers didn't improve with each generation, it would be pointless. We should all appreciate the contributions of older rappers like Tupac, biggie, Dre, eazy, and all those before them, but Eminem would destroy all of them.
+Overlord Ghs I agree with a lot of what you say but one rapper who I think is on par with eminem with lyrics and just a plain freestyle is Ice Cube...I'm fans of both but I honestly dont who is better between those two, them two for me at least are a tie for first/"God"
Cant agree with that. OGF is right, the song starts when the song starts, 0:00 . The girl (Candice, if i member right, Im not familiar with her and just heard her for my 1st time) gives a good touch to the song; sweet but provoking, the beat is good, and the 3 of them made this song good. About the other rapper, I find his part skippable. I´m not calling him bad, its just my oppinion, but I wouldnt add such a short part to a song.
I get it, I haven't head eminem rap like this in a loooonng time... but you gotta admit Dre's part was hectic also... matter of fact this whole track is a masterpiece. Thank you Dr. Dre for a song like this.
Lou Rawls "you'll never find another love like mine" thanks Em!! You're always shouting out greats and introducing me to their music. Much love for that
anyone that thinks em dropped off has no idea. I got this shit on REPEAT and its over a year later. FUCK i can't wait till his next album drops. Y'all can bet your sweet ass's that i will be attending his next concert.
Yes fr if you think Em fell off Im just like wow you must have bad reading comprehension skills. I mean you don't have to like the content or style of the song and trust me em has a few songs I dislike, but a lot of his songs have the best lyricism I'd ever seen even when I don't like the song in general he still proves his word play and metaphors are insane.
Bryan is right. His lyrics are insane for example like Kill you...You can dislike the content of the song, but you can't say that song was not lyrical because it was lol
Davion Banks I love that song. never meant like he isn't lyrical but for making music wise he fell off...like I said his flow and production are terrible now but he's still got that lyrical ability though
why does everyone think he destroys any MC, at least sre was speaking on the state of rap, and what's wrong with this generation, eminem just rapped about himself.
+Abraham Rodriguez he's the tiger woods of rap, meaning all you black guys who laugh at the fact that you owned golf, will have to accept that you lost rap and im black
+IDTGaming tripping. kendrick is on 3 songs no way ems one verse is better than any of kendricks. plus you forgot kendrick may have wrote some of dres lyrics as well
ems verse was far better than any of kendricks verses on the album The energy and delivery was classical em, the references and simile's are well though out, the flow is flawless, the dynamic created through changes in delivery, the contrast in attitudes, and a well timed cooldown after one of the most controversial and most epic lines in history. The only problem i have with this verse is the part where em has to be competing with the beat in terms of volume. Thats dre's fuckup anyway. He might have wanted the beat to follow the changes in mood, but then it drowns him out. Also, im sure em has written shit for dr dre before, so whats your point.
