" I used to be a lonly man, only. mad, until i got a million dollars, shit now if i only had hair id pull it, faster then a bullet? outa Tupacs chest befor the ambulance came to late to do it" ...i heard that and was like 😦 he just fuckin said that...omg lol
+Logan Simpson Orrr "I use to be a lonely man, only mad until I got a million dollars, shit now if I only had hair I'd pull it out faster than a bullet out of Tupacs chest before the ambulance came to late to do it"
+Joe Amato one of my favorite Eminem lines is "i hate this straight jacket it anit lacking they can't lock it so they staple my hands to my pants pockets"
Archive for rap channels that are blocked by UMG you don’t get this was a specific time in rap. It’s absurd, that’s the point. If you think everything in this song is literal you missed the meaning. The whole point is to be provocative.
philly nation everytime I hear Kool G's name I think of know the game, I'll leave you whole body twisted when you get lifted and police will have to fister run billistics on a biscuit another statistic, I tried to chill but you insisted coming all in my district I don't know why the fuck you risk it. yeah em and kool g are a close 1 and 2 lyrically and it dont matter which one is which
You know nothing about rap. Sad to see all these sassy retards glorifying Eminem. I love Eminem too, but you know nothing of the lyrical geniuses out there. You noobs are stuck in the mainstream
Jan Wik praising eminem =/= knowing less rappers. People here can know as many rappers as you know (claim to know, rather), and still be a big eminem fan. I seriously doubt thatll stop you from desperately fiending for attention the way you are. Because you sound like you are trying very hard. Despite what you may think, comments like yours, which are unwarranted by the way, people are simply talking about how much they like eminem, nothing to do with other rappers. Anyways, comments like yours make you sound very desperate, not cool.
Rap isn’t even my thing. I’m a metal guy. But there’s magic with this dude. He crosses over something more then one genre. If I was a vegetarian, I’m pretty sure this dude would have me eating a greasy burger with no shame. He’s insanely intelligent
one of those amazing forgotten Eminem songs. Just think of all the dope songs we forgot about because they didn't make the album. Every big rapper has tons of forgotten singles that didn't make the cut.
I have this really strange opinion about Eminem. Check this out It's kind of obscure but whatever here goes. In my opinion, Peak Eminem was this very small time frame between spring 1999 and about spring 2000. Between the release of his first commercial album and the second commercial album. Basically at this point, he had a touch of Fame he saw the success in The Slim Shady LP and after meeting dr. Dre. So at this point he had a lot of clout cuz he was a new upcoming dope white rapper, but he was still very hungry. There are only about a handful of songs to be released during this time. But in them you can see that he was really viciously skilled. Four songs I can think of off of my head that came out during this time were this one, get you mad, the Wake Up Show song that had like Riza Chino XL and everybody else, and Busta Rhyme from the Missy Elliott album. Listen to those tracks and tell me that wasn't the sharpest Eminem has ever been.
@@Yung_Mango I get your point and that's your opinion. I wrote that post when I was high but I still feel like that little year long period was em at his dopest. Infinite/SSLP Eminem will always be my favorite content wise and POST-SSLP PRE-MMLP Eminem honed his skills technically while still keeping his original vibe. IMO things changed with MMLP into a different guy. Wish we could have at least got one more Infinite/SSLP album out of him
...in the neighborhood I grew up in you could die for nuttin! And dirty dozen watches over me so try some dumb shit! I’ll have a man raped with a bandaid taped over his mouth while I shove his head in The fan blade! Don’t EVER tell me what I can or I can’t say, or I should change because of my age or fan base!!!!!
EyeZuel no...there is more then one GOAT....look at it like different sports. There’s a gold metal for the runner, and the boxer....that translates literally into “there is a GOAT for speed rap, And a GOAT who is the greatest battle rapper.” It’s as different as Bizzy Bone is from Eazy E (specifically easy e’s last album which was defiantly GOAT) Tech 9 is GOAT Too Short is GOAT Tu Pac is GOAT EMINEM is Goat/Rap God! ......and there are many other goats...busts rymes, LL Cool J......and the list “goes on dadadondedondadda!”
"Hip Hop is universal now, it's all commercial now it's like a circle full of circus clowns up in the circuit now"🔥👽💀 he pretty much predicted the way hip hop was going
@@detroitdizthepoet313 I've still been awaiting Detox since 2004! I hope Em and Dre make a banger one last time before they call it quits. 2020 would be a solid year for them to do this. 2020 vision, baby
Comrade Juju this came out back in 99 or 2000 you prolly weren't born yet. And this was super underground. On funk flex and big kap at the tunnel. When mix tapes was actually tapes and not cd's.
Comrade Juju yea em had a huge radio buzz out here in Ny. I got unheard material like fuking yzarc which is crazy backwards and the racist bars that he dropped which wasn't even racist he just said nigga one time. But I got all that. Do you ?
I remember when I first heard this song, and I was like "damn!" If this song was dropped now it would be an instant classic. Not that it isn't one already.
This song ended the beef! I’m a 80s baby who found Napster! I I listened to all unreleased Em songs! I cried when PAC died but Em saved Hip Hop after! Nobody on this planet can do this! Dopest lyrical genius in the universe!
When listening to these it makes sense he wouldnt be able to have Killshot be on the same level as this era. The man murdered the alphabet, and had the longest streak of certified hip hop magic, hard to keep getting better when you set the bar so insanely high
Nah. U may like this eras sound n Ems attitude more back then with Slim n his shock value but when it comes to actual Rap, no chance, todays em would murder old Em. Im only speaking pen game/ delivery, flows etc here
This era was raw that's what's missing from Em's current repertoire but the dude's like one year away from 50 now (which is insane when you think about how young he sounds in this and just how much time has passed) so it's expected unfortunately
“You critics wanna criticize but couldn’t visualize , individuals lives through a criminals eyes” Is probably my favorite verse of all time. Not my favorite Em verse , my favorite verse period. That line alone is whats had me coming back to this song time and time again.
I know I'm responding to a 5 yr old comment, but I still want to add this: Tbf, the rap game was moving in a direction (and still is on this same trajectory) where a song like this wouldn't have been a hit, but a song like "Always on Time" would be one. You can see that this song is underground af. Other than people like you and me, most people don't know this song at all. Eminem wouldn't have been able to make this track a commercial success. He had to rap "The Real Slim Shady" or "Without Me" (both great songs, but they don't hold a candle to this one lyrically) in order to get played on the radio.
It's a tradition...i used to always play this song while packing the backpack when headed out for some illegal art. It's been awhile since the last time, but rocking it out tonight, once again! 20+ years of ceremonial motivation - thank you Em', Dre, Flex and the rest of the crew!
