When I see a Burqa posh on Canadian street, I change the sidewalk. I recognize the brilliant knowledge and accomplishments of Dr. Hashmi, but she does not present a positive face of Islam to the world. It is a face hidden by culture and has to do with cultural gender roles. It is not an Islamic requirement, but to the world, it is transmitted as based on religion. Face covering is based on the presumption that the male role is that of hunter, predator, and defiler and the female is the prey who needs protection. Physical separation of males and females is one strategy. In the same vein, the burqa offers separation. Instead of redefining gender roles in the culture we live in, we keep on using the burqa as the cultural norm. For the record, I am an octogenarian, who practices 5 prayers a day. I also started and ran a Muslim charity for 7 years. Let us show the God-given, beautiful face to the world.
Please read Quran with open eyes mind & ear. Pay attention understand what Allah SWT wants us to do. Allah has taken safety of Quran on Himself for all times to come. And nothing else. Every thing else is fabricated. Last Messenger & companions only followed what was revealed. Rasool gave us Quran in Book form & nothing else. و تمت قلامات ربك صدقً و عدل.

Women in the forefront to take Islam backward. I have seen this not only in Islam but in Hinduism also. All negative practices are encouraged by women. Like these women are saying about 'The Nazar' has been adopted by Hindu women, yet there is no mention anywhere in Hindu scriptures about 'Nazar'. Thak the Allah Hindus believe in science and knowledge so the nation has moved at a good pace.

Quran is a Book of guidance for us to follow & be successful in this life & in next life. Quran is not a book of magics or wazifas. Read understand & follow as we are advised by our creator..

Agree 100% Sir, she is promoting ignorance. She is just working for her business to make money & exploit the ignorant. As Allah SWT tells us in Quran she will not only carry her weight but the weight of those she misled. She says that she got a very SHARP WAZIFA from a faqeer when she was only 8 years old. OMG she got exposed to that sharp thing at such a young age. Quran is not a book of Magic or Wazifas. It’s a guidance how we should be living to help the poor, disabled, destitute & under debt. All the Messengers of Allah including Last Messenger followed what was revealed to them. Some 250 years after his death they changed Allah’s Deen in to a Persian religion with fabrications. Just like what اهل الكتاب did to their Deen. They wrote stuff with their hands & said this is from Allah. They hid lot which was revealed to them. We have done same. We wrote books named those Sahi/True & put Quran behind our back. How unfortunate we are like previous generations that we changed Allah’s Deen.

Jin mean hidden people. They have their hidden agenda, and they are powerful. You took fire as a literally meaning, then you are given them Godly powers.
