Button doesn't change the mode on my sportster 1200xl custom 2012 anymore. Silent on idle, monster from approximately 7 to 45 km/h, over that goes into silent again. Can't find assistance from Italy

When you have an original bike, with also a stock air intake, this has no effect. When you change the air intake or have a different mapping, you can do this in coordination with your dealers. They know how to finetune everything combined with our system.

I have a problem.on my j&h exaust on my 48. It doesnt allow me to put the half position anymore, just open and close... Also the open position change depending on speed...( on stop it closes and opens a few seconds I start to ride.. Then after 50 km/h or so it closes again.. Any clue on what happens

Hi Jack, that the system automatically closes at certain points is by design and is to make sure the system is street legal. If your half open modus however does not work anymore, the best thing to do is visit your dealer. They will have a look at it and when they cannot fix it they will contact us for the next steps necessary.

GSA 1250, I have full exhaust Akrapovic. But can i put the JK exhaust in my racing collector Akrapovic ? And the sound is better than Akrapovic exhaust?

@@jekillandhyde can the flap be pushed in from closed to open by a rod or is it really hard to do so?? I’m asking because the cops where I live love to test motorcycle exhausts by forcing a rod through the back of the mufflers to see if the exhaust have a physical baffle in place. If the exhaust doesn’t have a baffle or they can push the baffle to an open state, then you fail the test and you get a 317$ ticket. Got 2 of those last summer with my V&H twin slash slip ons… Thanks for any help

@@jekillandhyde I think you 100% misunderstood my question… I know it’s a button on the handlebars, but can the flap be forced open with a metal rod??? Maybe it is legal where you are from, but here, in Quebec, Canada, any modifications to the exhaust system and/or adding a manually/electronically controlled flap to render the exhaust system to have a pass through without the gases going through the expansion chamber makes the exhaust system illegal. Police officers will check this by inserting a metal rod in the exhaust to check if it has a movable flap instead of a solid baffle. Now, let me repeat the question: WILL THE JEKILL & HIDE EXHAUST FLAP BE MOVED IF A PERSON WOULD PUSH A METAL ROD AGAINST THE FLAP AND EXERT A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FORCE TO THE FLAP TO CHECK IF IT CAN BE MOVED?!? I cannot invest 3k$ in an exhaust if I will still get tickets at 317$ a pop for an illegal exhaust system as per the Quebec law on modified vehicles!
