Yes yes and yes this guy is one of the most op characters in dc comics history. This video is long overdue he is one of my favorite dc comics characters.
I stopped reading Amazon reviews a long time ago when they were less about detailed product descriptions and more about “Great job, My product shipped quickly”. The site was full of one star reviews for the Watchmen film back when it first came out. The reasoning behind many of them was the reviewers were offended by the violence, profanity, and nudity. It was an R rated adaptation of a comic series that was not intended for children. If someone had the time to watch a movie and write a review about it, they also had time to research it. In short, if you were offended by it, you deserved to be offended.
“And if I offended you, oh, I’m sorry, but maybe you need to be offended! But, here’s my apology! And one more thing: FUCK YOU!” - “You Can’t Bring Me Down” by Suicidal Tendencies, (1990)
Have you read, Charleston comic of captain Alan Adam? Basically just another version of doctor Manhattan, but the way how he can see the readers,(us) and our thoughts, That's powerful.
@@MKF30 oh you should read it, one of the best comicbook, comparable to comics like all star superman, and kingdom come. Trust me after you read it. You be like wow, I'm glad I read it, I did.
I generally like this guy. He ended up leaving humanity after realizing long-term world peace was to allow Earth's people to believe he was responsible for randomly killing millions. Scapegoats are tasked with the evils of everyone when allowed to escape. Dr. Manhattan is The Atom, before blending the comic universes, suddenly absolutely cared who had their money tendrils into one another. I wouldn't be surprised If Marvels' version of the "Northmen", as a culture of parasites is on a lot of ships and for very greedy reasons. Edit: Correction. When I originally posted this, I called The Atom "Captain Atom" (again). I keep forgetting That Captain Atom is pretty much a lame energy life form in a human-shaped radiation bag.
@10:38, "Sprok"???? Leonard Nimoy is rotating so fast in his grave that he might melt his casket. Or he might be laughing so hard we could hear him from space.
Im from India and knowing that your team also have members from India, I know what you meant by that 😂, the good thing about it is sometimes it turns out great and the bad thing is that sometimes it doesn't no 🧢
Imagine being a regular guy one day then due to an accident you become so powerful you exist in every atom of every piece of a universe at all points in time past present or future… what
I think it would be great to see a version of (DR. MANHATTAN) appear in a DC movie someday, and have him meet a GREEN-LANTERN who is from the planet:Earth.
@@rashadjenkins1571 I dunno, Nite Owl's like Batman's predecessor, besides, you're probably thinking of Owlman, Batman's evil counterpart from an alternate dimension
You've got it backwards. You say that Crudup was replaced by a motion captured human in flashbacks but that's not true at all. How do you get it completely backwards? Billy Crudup was only replaced by motion capture when he was Dr. Manhattan. As a human it's just Billy Crudup. Wtf.
One of the greatest of all time and Billy Crudup will always be Dr Manhattan. Absolutely outstanding performance and one of the best , saddest transformations in cinema history.
He also said Crudup was replaced by motion capture when he was depicted in flashbacks as a human. It's literally the opposite. What in the actual fuck is this video?
i always pity Dr Manhatten., Sure most powerful being in the universe. yet he is the least free being. a slave to the future he see. unable to alter it. if he could change the future then it wouldnt be so. this would be a horrible way to live. all the power in the universe a god. yet you can do nothing to change it
I’ve never heard so many things wildly mispronounced as they are in this video. Gila isn’t pronounced “JeeLa” it’s pronounced “he-La”. You said “Sprock” from Star Trek and about 40 other things. Wow.
