It's been 3-4 years since I saw Dr. Greger in a live Q&A, but in a much larger setting. This was great and even more hilariously entertaining than I recall him being before. It's amazing how he's able to be so funny and quick on his feet, all while addressing so many different questions, in a sufficiently detailed way. Thanks so much for uploading this!
Dr Greger is one of my all time favorites. His work and energy is so inspirational and the biggest reason I created this channel. So, I always love an opportunity to capture him. Subscribe and hit the notification bell so you don't forget to watch his latest talk I'll be releasing on 11/22. I shot that right before this and with a board mix. So, it's a much better production... The quality of this video isn't as good as many of my others. Because I was traveling I had limited gear and didn't have my fluid head tripod. It was all such a rush. Dr Faraz Harsini with Allied Scholars for Animal Protection covered my way last minute. So, I didn't even anticipate going much less needing to pan/tilt... What's worse is the audio. I just finished videoing Dr. Greger's "How Not to Age" talk that I will be releasing on November 22nd. By the time I packed up and found where he was doing the Q&A he had already started so I didn't get a chance to mic him or setup. But with a little work I made it usable enough to share. Next time though I'm going to try and man up, interrupt and just put a mic on him! Anyways hopefully it's good enough to share :-) Tomorrow's release if all goes well is Dr Faraz Harsini's powerful talk that was presented at the AVA Summit. Then I'll resume with interviews. Hitting the road tomorrow 9 hours to Jersey for Ethos Farm event to see what I can grab. Thank you so much for watching, subscribing, commenting, and sharing. Your support keeps me going when the going gets tough.
@@dj.h7424 thank you so much for all of your support!:-) I just crossed the Virginia line only eight more hours to my destination in New Jersey. Hopefully the event won't get rained out too bad. I might be able to get some gold this weekend!
Thanks for uploading. I saw his lecture at University College London around about the How Not to Die promotion. He gave a very energetic and information packed talk. His sense of humour and sincerity of purpose came through strongly.
Omg, ten minutes in and I've already learned so much I never knew before! Now I need to get some potassium salt and date sugar - which is actually raw vegan!? Thanks so much for uploading!
1:00 "Blindness in a vegan": and yet that "vegan" was deficient in a whole array of nutrients, including ones that are abundant in plants, including vitamin C!!, showing he probably had absorption issues or ate some extremely restricted version of the "vegan" diet. McDougall talks about this in an article from 2007.
@@Gngrcpl yes, I do recall that and he's also said not to brush your teeth right away after drinking a smoothie but that's more fruit type smoothies that have a higher resulting sugar load rather than green smoothies. And it's not that it's bad it's just take your time consuming it. And you can probably blunt the glycemic load by eating whole grains or whole legumes prior to that if you're really worried about it. Or just exercise after eating it. Or just make it more green :)
Why not plenty of people younger than him die from heart disease and cancer with a full head of hair and perfect vision. Don't worry there's plenty of people eating whole plant foods that I guarantee look better than you if that's all you need is looks rather than science
