Imagine if you were emotionally abused every day about your nose, you would think your nose is ugly too. Then you get nose surgery and the abuse stops. You can't blame people for getting the surgery, that's pretty much victim blaming lol

In my very late 20s now and, if anything, my parents are the ones who offered to get me a nose job. I absolutely refuse to touch my nose, and mine is big considering how tiny my face is. I hope and pray the time comes where fellow Middle Easterners stop being bullied to the point of cosmetic surgery.

Armenians are some of the nicest loveliest people and everything about their appearance is very pleasant. Nothing wrong with her to begin with Then, the botched nose only looks bad to her because it's not natural. I feel like there are a lot of people with such noses, and I see nothing wrong with it

Im black with large nostril and i use to hate it as a kid. Now im a mother to twin boys with the exact same nose and they are so beautiful to me. Im glad i never got surgery. ❤❤

How sweet! I'm half black half white and I have the same button nose as my mother. I have a wider basal width and bigger nostrils but I'm still beautiful nonetheless. I live in France and I am still considered beautiful here so that's to tell you something ❤

I suspect she won't... She has changed her hair, texture and color, drastically, her nose repeatedly, and I suspect her body as well. She has disowner her natural self, but she will still "see that" and be miserable. I wish people could learn to embrace the unique vs want to be plastic clones. It all comes around anyways, what was ignored or mocked or scorned becomes the Hot Thing... then it fades out and a totally different type is Hot. Are you going to chase the New Look with constant surgery? Or accept yourself? I got outright pity from girls and women, comments that my parents should have fixed things... Did I care? Well, not really- I mentally shrugged and thought I'm me oh well. Fast forward 10 years into adulthood and my facial features suddenly graced the biggest super model and given worldwide fame and admiration. Today women go to great lengths to fake it if not surgery. Fast forward another decade and my body type was celebrated in music... and that has only grown in trendy surgeries on offer. But I never changed. Imagine if I had, just to see my natural look be considered attractive- but my now mutilated self cannot go back.

No matter how I look, I can't see what she means about her nose looking like a butt. That being said, she clearly needed it to be fixed and the result is amazing. Dr. Nassif and Dr. Dubrow never fail to amaze me.

I have the "butt nose" too. She is referring to there being a dimple on the tip of the nose that makes it look like there are two humps on the tip.

Yeah. Me neither. i don't know her situation and I hope this helped, but the fact she's so fixated on an "issue" that isn't really visible to other people seems like she may have some kind of dysphoria, and surgery usually doesn't solve mental issues that she may have from the bullying. I hope after the surgery she can come to terms with what she looks like

It’s really sad that even now she talks about her natural nose so negatively as if it was the problem. I wish she could see that the problem was the kids that bullied her - there was nothing wrong with her natural nose! It’s just really sad to see someone talking about their ethnic features with such dislike, even though I know it’s not her fault.

Yeah it’s true we need to work as a society to reduce bullying and the promotion of unhealthy beauty standards but at the same time if a very small thing can prevent years of suffering it should be their choice to get the surgery. Also surgeons who arent serious or have very low standard should be shut down. A lot of botched work comes from frauds

That is my story almost exactly. Aggressive rhinoplasty at age 16 to remove the hump. Revision a few weeks later due to excessive scar tissue. Left the roof of the nose open and cut too much cartilage off the tip. I put up with the “sinking bridge” for 35 years. The nose looked much weirder than hers but those surgeries had been so traumatic I didn’t want to do it again. Finally I HAD to because I couldn’t breathe anymore. At age 63 I had the reconstruction. Ribs are too calcified at that age so the ENT took a big chunk of cartilage from my ear and a sheet of connective tissue from under my scalp. Mind you, I went to an ENT because I wanted function. But he also gave me a normal looking nose! And I can breathe!!

I'm glad she's happy now and had the botched surgeries corrected, but I think of her daughter and all the daughters of women who erase their natural features that they've passed onto them. What message are they sending them? How must their daughters feel knowing that their moms felt the features that they themselves now have were ugly? It becomes a cycle that keeps perpetuating itself. I wish we as women could learn to love our natural selves more. Confidence is radiant.

I'm Norwegian, but my nose is hooked. It doesn't look like a typical small Scandinavian nose. If it weren't for the fact that my childhood idol also had a hooked nose, I would have hated it. I actually really love my nose all thanks to this idol, because I saw myself in him. Kids need positive role models like that, with natural faces.

@jaybee2337 True… or it could be a scripted reality show. Writers/producers/whoever will script drama/exaggerate things for storylines and reactions. It’s good people are voicing their dissatisfaction but I wouldn’t jump to vilifying someone. Especially bc they both could’ve agreed to it. And this episode short didn’t show a lot of comebacks but the teasing/joking has definitely flowed both ways.

Dr. Dubrow often playfully teases Dr. Nassif, sometimes quite harshly, and if it were me, it would find it difficult, because I am sensitive. However, despite this, Dr. Nassif responds with remarkable grace, showcasing he is a amazing good sport. Both are brilliant doctors, demonstrating extraordinary skill and expertise!

I think it's fair to say that we were all teased in school. I was mercilessly teased for my full lips! The same size lips that thin-lipped women pay lots of money for today. Anyway, at one point, I wanted to cut off my lips! But I didn't and just braved the teasing. Now, my lips are greatly admired and desired! ✌🏾

Oftentimes the only reason you get bullied for something is, that it works. Bullies try to get to others, they test out all kinds of things. Then when someone reacts, they will continue with the same thing forever. I had a class mate who was bullied for her big lips. Not because big lips are ugly in any way, but because she was sensitive and the guys could easily make her cry and they enjoyed that for some reason.

Perfect example why we have to love what we got, especially if it's perfectly functioning. Truly, think about it, would you rather have the nose your ancestors gave you or not be able to breath? We seriously need to hammer down on this stupid shallow society that shames us for being healthy human beings. Her natural nose was gorgeous, and she's still very beautiful, but unfortunately, she has deep rooted scars and insecurities brought on by the hatred of other people. She deserved better.

OMG Dr Nassif had a nose job at 16? Sixteen? That is NOT a normal family that would allow a 16 year old BOY to do that.

I saw absolutely nothing wrong with her nose. I was teased about mine. Dr did a fantastic job though and she looks good both ways.

A rule everyone needs to go by. Do not mess with your face. Your face is you. Once you get surgery it isn't you anymore.

She had a very large nose to begin with and those are hard to fix. I understand because the same thing happened to me! I was botched (saddle nose and collapsed nasal valves)! I've since had 2 reconstructive surgeries with a surgeon that has done speaking engagements with Dr. Nassif and thankfully it looks good (but not perfect) now.

I used to hate a little whirlwind I have just in my hairline split, making one side go up and the other down, then once I went to visit my great grandma's tomb where there's a picture of her, and I saw she had it too 😅 since that day I stoped thinking about it and love it

Kids are cruel. Her nose was not bad. But other kids made her life a horror! What is it with kids! I think the kids that do,that kind of teasing have mental issues themselves! And then she made it worse with all those bad surgeries. She is waaay to concerned with her looks now because of all they teasing. She really needs therapy for,¥ that. But… I glad things are better for her now. She does look very nice now.

She was beautiful, even her nose. I think women should leave their faces alone. If nothing is damaged don’t touch it. I see nothing wrong with an Armenian nose. I am American and have a hump on my nose just like my Dad. I look in the mirror and think of him. I would never change it.

I too was made fun of for my nose when I was a kid, and I too wanted a nose job when I was a kid. It's up to us to get over our self-esteem issues. Surgery will not fix this.
