Sourav Dey TransPRK is the safest refractive surgery method available, no corneal nerves are cut in this procedure where as in LASIK many nerve ending are cut when the flap is removed.
Epi contoura is an advanced version (topography-guided) of LASIK. Trans PRK is a slightly advanced version of PRK. Lasik vs PRK are two different procedures. Lasik is more accurate, is virtually painless, has quicker recovery but is slightly less safe (because of potential flap issues). PRK is the older procedure, generally less accurate, longer healing, more painful but is a bit safer (because of no flap creation).
