This shocked me!! I had the exact surgery she's talking about because i was diagnosed with chiari last year (my symptoms: dizziness, headaches, feeling intoxicated and extreme lightheadedness, everything worsening while standing or sitting up). Well, nothing changed, i am now bed bound and only after 4 head surgeries and a VP Shunt Implant - I finally got the mecfs diagnosis.. at least I know now and also have some ideas what i can do about it, thanks to this amazing channel 💚🙏🏻 It should be common knowledge in neurosurgery and other feelds that chiari can be misdiagnosed as mecfs or fibromyalgia and so on, but also the other way around!!! This is so deeply frustrating.

It is so fun, when you think about how different topics are connected. But you think it sounds kind of weird and if you would talk about it to someone else they would think you are crazy. And then you watch a video on this channel and there is a person who can talk about it so well and understandable and it dosn't sound crazy at all.

I came to the conclusion a couple of months ago that damaged fascia was definitely my missing puzzle piece. Caffeine and high cortisol damage fascia. I quit caffeine 6 months ago. This explains why I have been so stiff and in pain for a year!I’ve been doing the Block Therapy program. I’m seeing progress but it is slow-it’s a very painful process.

I have been listening to Deanna Hansen who does "Block Therapy" for fascia release. I bought her sampler program for $9 to try some beginning execises but it was too much. I kept reading other people's progress and I felt like such a failure. Now after listening to Satya I realize my nervous system needs to go slow and easy. I'm looking forward to joining her group!

Well, well, well. I knew there was a neck/head piece to this puzzle for MANY people and many conditions. But Dr Satya explained exactly what it is so well and it's nice to see the treatment approach she created is so simple and not time consuming. And she seems to think it's a piece (or the main cause) of many diagnoses that I wouldn't have thought had a neck/brain/head piece in. I hope she helps many, many people. ❤

Great interview. Enjoyed hearing new information and especially the laughter! I don't understand people who are so critical of practitioner's charging for their services. How much study have they done to reach their qualifications? How many years have they been unable to work? How much debt are they in? I wonder if the people complaining would work for free? I do understand that no one should take advantage of anyone else, especially sick people, and prices should be reasonable. But we all have choice who we consult 🤷‍♀️😊

Talk about synchronicity! I’ve been looking for an at home fascia release program. This may be out there, but the chest fascia adhesions could be to protect the heart. We have so many memory cells in our heart, and those whose experienced trauma for a long time have a lot of painful memories. Perhaps our bodies are protecting our heart from experiencing more psychological / emotional pain (and if you are spiritual, this makes perfect sense to protect the heart chakra for trauma survivors).

Just wanted to give a heads-up to those with severe neck injuries. I suspect the need to start bottom up with guidance from Dr. Satya. Is there a way to get in touch with her? Wow! She used to charge $2k for her recorded digital class! I'm so glad she shifted her greed into helping more people with a more accessible price point. $5/month like Tracy Rodriguez would truly reach the masses , if that's actually her goal like she says. Gate keeping healing modalities behind a $2k pay wall is another level of capitalist greed. She claims it has changed her life and made her more functional! Woa why not want to help as many people as possible! I bet dropping the price would make her more money honestly, people will forget about the subscription after healed, she'll still get her money It seems she had some sort of wake up call, perhaps that praying on desperate people who are in pain is unethical. Immoral and just overall s*****. It's a digital product that was pre-made. She charged $2,000 for it. Praying on desperate people isn't cool. Again, I'm glad she changed her pricing, I truly wonder what happened to wake her up to what she was doing. Maybe she took a class on predatory marketing or predatory pricing? Or trauma-informed sales and pricing? Was that what it was? These would be valuable classes for all people in this industry to take.
@JamieR

This is something I'm so frustrated with. People claim they got a calling to help people after being ill themselves, only to charge premiums. That's not ok. I'm not saying work for free, but if the goal is to help people, then the price should be manageable. Or at the very least have reduced rates for those really struggling and aren't able to work etc.

@@JamieR thank you! I agree, Tracy Rodriguez on IG and TT has a $5/month program with live coaching, live talks with Physical therapists and Occupational therapists. This ladies class was recorded from a retreat that I'm sure charged ar a luxury price point, then she slapped it on a website promising healing, but at $2k. To be clear her program now is a $49/month subscription, not sure if paid for a year up front or cancel anytime, I'm sure it's up front knowing her sales approach 🙄 With all that said, I've wanted to try her program since I discovered her, but haven't worked for years due to the chronic symptoms she describes - The same ones that made her bedridden - I guess she was lucky enough to have financial stability during her symptoms. I do think it's probably a very good program, it just may be hard for me to get past the fact that she was profit over people And without a real explanation as to why that changed, it might be hard to trust her intentions.

@@mkykta9140 yup I know :( it truly breaks my heart. I worked in a Functional Medicine Dr.s office, the amount of greed- people paying their $10k bill with multiple credit cards and taking out new lines of credit, all while at the end of the day the Doctor checks the numbers at the end of the day and gives me a high five. It's fucking grosse. To be clear tho, I do believe this program probably would help find relief and when I'm in the position I may try it as long as it's not a yearly commitment (that's shit too). Tracy Rodriguez on IG and TT address more hypermobility issues, yet cranial cervical instability can come from hypermobility... And creates more likelihood of the conditions that this doctor here. Dr. Satya describes. There's also a guy from the Netherlands that has a free class for chronic fatigue syndrome, I can't remember his name Daniel something. It's all online for free, he does offer one-on-one coaching at a completely reasonable rate last time I checked... Unfortunately, the program didn't totally resonate with me, I totally understand the concept but didn't resonate, but it probably will for many, I admire his decision to make it free, he healed himself and he wants to help others, truly help

@@JamieR It's $49 and you could possibly learn the material in a month (I'm not sure). I joined a different program and I was able to work through it in 2 months. The worst ones (IMO) are the courses that drip feed content so it takes 6 - 12 months.

What I didn’t grasp was how these practices reverse chiari… how does this pop the brain back out of the brain stem?…
@mirjamrettig1977
@mirjamrettig1977 2 дня назад
I don't think that's possible. But- think about it. Why do some people with chiari are asymptomatic and some have terrible symptoms (while their MRI looks exactly the same). I think it's more about changing how your body reacts to it (aka nervous symptom work) and also, as she said, the Dura marta is full of fascia, so maybe you can change a bit regarding the pressure around the brain. I had the decompression done surgically and my symptoms are still here. I now know that it was MECFS after all, not Chiari.

@thedatepro
@thedatepro 21 час назад
I can understand this sentiment. However if a person has spent a lot of time and money learning what it took to heal themselves they are allowed to make a living helping others. They have bills to pay like everyone else does. Some people share a lot of their knowledge freely on social media. Though I will agree there are those who have these $3000 dollar programs and don't share any free resources at all. Dr Sataya is not one of those.
