Looks like it could be quite entertaining, in a 70's kitsch kind of way.

The nameless one, sounds like an older version of Bane from The Dark Knight Rises. Also, Dr. Strange in this looks like a combination of John Holmes and Steve Guttenberg.

Its interesting that they guy playing Doctor Strange in this movie is actually pretty similar to Benedict Cumberbatch.

Any plans on doing Doctor Mordrid? It's Doctor Strange in all but name, since they lost the rights before the production could start and decided to do it anyway. Plus, it has Jeffrey Combs in it.

I always had a bit of a thing for Jessica Chastain in Arrested Development, now I have it even more seeing her young.

Dr. Mordrid was a better "bad" Dr. Strange movie (it is a Dr. Strange movie, but they lost the rights to the character like the day before they began filming and changed the name to Mordrid).

I thought I hadn't seen this pilot when it was on TV, but then that "scourge of demons" formula popped up and I realized that I had! Only memorable thing in it.

I showed this "movie" to my fiancé (because he likes Marvel a lot and I thought it would be fun) and he made so many jokes similar to the ones in this review (the one about Strange turning into a black man was like almost word for word!) and I was losing my shit the whole time XD Then of course I showed him this review and he was astounded to see the similar jokes alhjfhajhj Thank you Snob for this bonding opportunity!

The devil here looks like a Godzilla sock puppet... and not a good one at that.

I saw the new Dr Strange yesterday, I am not a "comic" fan or a "superhero" fan, so hard for me to say if it was good or not...was definitely interesting.

Linkara explains who he was. Doctor strange was a two crowded surgeon who hands were injured in a car accident, were he cant perform surgeon, he travel the world seeking redemption until he comes across a Celtic monk who learns him the ways of magic and becoming the Sorcerer supreme of the mcu.

How has this never been referenced on Archer? They like making tongue-in-cheek references to the actors' real lives and other acting roles.

The odd thing is, the 1991 Captain America movie looked like it was also made in the same era as this version of Doctor Strange.

The main character and story is so different from all other iterations of Dr. Strange I didn't even consider that this was seriously based on the comics until I saw his costume.

Love your reviews - but I have to defend the 1978 Dr. Strange! For context, mid-western gay boy here, born in 1960. I was in the closet in high school, but Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings (the books) saved my life. And I saw Dr. Strange when it premiered on CBS. Hearing about it's poor ratings, I even wrote to CBS begging them to give it another chance......They didn't. But they did send me a nice rejection letter. (This was back in the days of paper-based communication.) This movie drags quite a bit in the middle section, and the villain, Morgan Le Fay, fails more than she should. But still, the supernatural world it sets up is on par with Star Wars notion of "The Force" in a galaxy "long ago and far, far away." I became a life-long fan of John Mills and Jessica Walter because of this movie. AND, a Dr. Strange fan. I only read the comics after I saw this movie.

Sure, the T-shirt may be easier than getting my chest branded; but would it properly display my love of Lloyd? I think not -- HEAT UP THE BRAND!
