Dr. Suzanne Simard speaks at UBC Botanical Garden's 2023 Peter Wharton Lecture 

My Library Angel presented me with Suzanne’s magical 2021 FINDING THE MOTHER TREE. I’m nearly through the text, but at page 275, found myself needing to find if this passionate scientist survived her struggle with cancer perhaps partially caused by her early field work with the Roundup herbicide produced by DuPont years ago. I’m still enjoying her portion of this lecture, eager to continue the deep dive into her research and lectures on uTube. Her book is a ‘cannot put down’ narrative of questions asked and answered, related to all life on our Earth.

Oh she's talking to young children with that questioning tone all the time. It's uncomfortable viewing for an adult.
