Part 2-4 took place 5 years after part 1 which was Friday June 13 1980 not 79 like the stupid gravestone says in part 4 since June 13 1979 was a Wednesday
This was an amazing film for one reason. It took the basic plot of the first one and turned it on its head. They created a horror icon and then iconic horror franchise by putting a disfigured hillbilly under a cloth mask.Incredible.
Jason = Jesus 1: Both names begin with the letter J 2: Both had a close relationship with their mother 3: Both are associated with the number 13 (it's considered unlucky because Judas was the 13th disciple) 4: Both died for the sins of others 5: Both have the power of resurrection 6: Both want to stop teens from have premarital sex EDIT 7: I also realized both of them immediately jump from 12 to 30, with no explanation as to their whereabouts during their teen years.
+goodmatt 10 think about it, god is the same as Jesus, right? and good make stupid plans to kill the men kind, and avoid the evil. Jason make plans for kill horny teens, but at the end he missed. Jesus and Jason are both idiots.

I found this channel a few months back. Fuckin love it, reminds me of Monstervision and USA up all night movies, has that vibe for me. Keep it up Dr Wolfula!
Biggest plot hole of part 2 is how did Jason track down Alice and travel to her location? Presumably she wasn't living next to Crystal Lake as part of her attempt to get her life back together.
I always wondered why, if Jason was supposed to be such a mama's boy, did he never attempt to reunite with her? He has no trouble leaving the woods to go find Alice.
What do you mean? Mrs Voorhees is dead and Jason is keeping her head in his shack. So he is reunited with her. He watched his mom die and survived on the animals. That’s why there is no animals or barely any, in Crystal Lake. It’s all in theory but yeah. His mom is dead.
I believe Jason was undead the whole series. He resurrected himself as a child after drowning, his regeneration turned him into the titan we love, and he's been killing ever since his mom got decapitated.
According to the Friday the 13th Part 2 novelization, Alice was actually living in the town of Crystal Lake after a brief asylum visit. Funny how the didn't put that in the movie.
This was the first Friday the 13th I rented. I only saw heavily edited movies from the franchise. I agree, other than the kills, 1 is really not exciting.
"Of course the stand out feature he has of the shrine he made for his mothers decapitated head, it really brings the room together, every home should have one of these if I may be so bold." Classic
To me Vicki death scared me the most as a little kid. It wasn't bloody but the way she sold it was awsome. Her facial and screams and moans. You dint need to see where she got stabbed to know that it was going to hurt and be slow and painful
I know it's hard to say in retrospect, but I wonder if audiences knew for sure it was Jason killing in this one before the ending scene? The first film was a whodunnit, so maybe they thought this was too and that Jason suddenly being alive was too far fetched...anyway, nice review!
I think that the film pretty much only gives Jason as a suspect, so I think that people just assumed it was him. Also the ending of him coming out of the lake is also pretty telling
What's brown and sits on a piano? Beethoven's last movement. Thank you, Ted, for the classiest poop joke of all time. Wherever you are, I hope you've gotten over your survivor's guilt and have gone on to lead a happy life.
You've made my week with this review! I had been wanting to hear your thoughts on Part Two, and you totally nailed it. And thank you for calling Amy Steel incomparable. I really dig her strength in this and love how unconventional she is as a final girl. I wish she had done more movies. I read on-line that they wanted her for Part Three, but her agent convinced her to decline. I wonder if they were planning on offing her in the beginning of Part Three (as they had done in Part Two to Adrienne King?)
How can you ask such a question!? Especially about Jason? Jason is A KILLER!!! ANYONE..ANY TIME...ANY PLACE!! NO EXCEPTION!! Unless you are fortunate enough to escape!!
Been going through alot of your videos idk if you can see this but keep up what you do your one of the more interesting people I've watched review horror movies. I'm a fan of dead meat and saw he refreshed you and you've been grinding for so long I respect it alot you deserve alot more exposure and I hope you get alot more than you already have
Thank you for finishing this one. I'm eagerly awaiting your Final Chapter review. Of all the films, it's easily my favorite and one I could watch over and over. I feel like there's fodder for a million of your not-so-subtle jokes with the casting choices.
I think this is the way Friday the 13th Part 2 ended:Ginny and Paul arrive at one of the cabins after thinking they killed Jason and try to get some rest after their horrible horrible day with Jason. With Ginny asleep, she has a dream about arriving at the cabin with Paul but instead of going to sleep, she and Paul hear a noise outside and they arm themselves while Paul slowly opens the door only to find Muffin (who mostly likely in reality was brutally murdered by Jason, since there is a scene where Muffin has an encounter with Jason and we are never shown exactly what happened after that and there is another scene where two of the characters find a mangled dog corpse that does look a lot like Muffin in the forest which is the area Muffin met Jason). After the reveal, Ginny, with relief, tells Muffin to come to her until she gets snatched by Jason through the window (again this is all apart of the dream-turned-nightmare sequence).
Ginny then awakes from the nightmare in a hospital bed getting put into the back of an ambulance. Even though Paul isn't seen and taking into consideration that the scene before was just a nightmare Ginny had, Paul is most likely resting at another ambulance, going to the same hospital to be recovered
+Jordan W S well that's worse if she is at camp in the forest and watched Part III. I generally think Jason movies are fun, but Part III is always scary to me. So I think I might be a bit freaked out if i were your mom
Sorry it took so long for such a short video. This was supposed to come out a week after the first movie's review but I got... sidetracked. I'll try to get back into the habit of making frequent uploads.
@@adrianlemus8014 Typical men. You and all the others. And you have the nerve to not like male stereotypes.... *smh How about a guy swimming naked? You like that? (yes you would ;)) Now THAT would be impressive.
What if all the friday the 13th movies are similar because the campers somehow speak jason into existence when they tell the story, but the story is different because a different person tells it each time. Or maybe its just a story they tell around a campfire, and we are listening to it instead of watching a "movie"
That`s odd why do I want Lay`s potato chips but at least I know that Dr. Wolfula would never disappoint us by having product placement in his video or comment section just like Coca-Cola never disappointing us with its taste.
To answer your question at 11:09 I suggest you take a look at Brandon Tenold's RU-vid channel. He reviewed the movie along with other cult films. Plus he's also cracked the double penetration joke in some of his reviews.
What happened to Ted? Well, he worked as a bellhop at a hotel, unfortunately the incident at Crystal Lake must have seriously messed him up, as he turned to murdering people, later he was killed by an FBI agent who was investigating his crimes.
He's more like stupid Ralph, knows fully well there's a homicidal maniac lurking around the camp, yet goes there and wanders about in the woods at night-time.
When you get to part 3, you should talk about the alternate endings that we still don't have. One where Jason decapitates Chris and PSYCHE! It was just a dream, but it makes more sense than the dream with his mom, or the ending where Chris chops Jason with a sickle(this was meant to be the last), or the one where the biker survives and escaped with Chris(we almost had an ending where the black guy survives!) but Jason is nowhere to be found.
+Kissai Sith Jen'ari dude not all of these requests are people who just keep commanding. Im well aware he is not a robot along with a ton of other youtubers. Im not typing it in capital letter saying REVIEW IT OR YOU DIE! He should ignore that half of people. But dont assume me or matthew rios are treating him like a robot.
Not my favorite F13 (that goes to part 6) but might be my favorite final girl and my favorite Jason design. I love the hockey mask, but there's something genuinely terrifying with just a bag over the head and the one eyehole.
Honestly if someone wanted to see only one or two Jason movies, i would tell them to see Part VI, and then Part V. Not cause they are my favorite, cause they just represent the series the best, they are kinda just the perfect mix of certain elements, including some comedy.
Thank you Finally!!!! I'v missed you soooo much. Iv been watching other Horror movie review people who are not up to par with you! Ugh I know I request this every time, but Please review I Know What You Did Last Summer. I'll shit the bed if you do!!!! again Thank You.
