Greetings! I'm your host, Dr. Wolfula, and when I'm not tormenting my zombie minion Ghoulash, I'm here at The Wolfulair reviewing movies! Within this RU-vid channel you'll find reviews of classic & recent horror films, news on the latest happenings in the genre, livestreams of horror games, unboxings of weird stuff and all sorts of other things in-between!
What I wanna know in the legend of Jekyll and Hyde is that if Mr Hyde is a demon or other malevolent spirit. Could Dr Jekyll have even been an occultist?
It's funny that most people nowadays don't even know that The Shining's "Here's Johnny!" line was a reference to Johnny Carson's intro. Since it's been off the air so long, and most people associate that line more with the movie. So the Simpson's parodying it with other show intros won't make sense to most people anymore.
ACTUALLY, The Burning is based on the ORIGINAL version of the Cropsey legend from the 1950s (maybe even older than that), the Staten Island story came way later. The original version of the legend is actually a lot more like the plot of Friday the 13th; a man who goes on an insane killing rampage in the wake of his child’s death by drowning. Nightmind actually talked about him in one of his Monster Hunt videos.
I watched this movie for the first time a couple of months ago and the raft scene really came out of nowhere and caught me off guard. I’m a big fan of your channel doc been watching you before I was a freshman in high school and that was almost 9 years ago I haven’t gotten around to your patreon yet due to some financial problems but I can’t wait, keep up the awesome content.🩷😊
All the money that gets thrown at shite horror films these days you would think someone would have the sense to throw bill some cash to even re shoot this ! But it would still have to have buckethead playing leatherface and he would still have to do the soundtrack!!! If they did that I think this would still be a great project !!!
I'm a huge fan of Ends. Everyone who cries about it kind of loses credibility to me because it just shows they only want more of the same old formulaic shit.
This might be the worst list I've ever seen and I cant possibly comprehend how anyone can like Ends or any of the new trilogy enough to put them in the top 5
After re-watching everything, this is my final verdict. / HALLOWEEN I (1978) 10/10 HALLOWEEN 2 (1981) (with ending where Jimmy survives) 6/10 HALLOWEEN III (1982) 8/10 (unrelated, but so what?) HALLOWEEN IV (1988) 8/10 HALLOWEEN V (1989) 9.5/10 HALLOWEEN VI PC (1995) 10/10 ✝ Next 2 films don't count. RZ (2007) (with alternate end on DVD) 9.5/10 THE END!
I won't watch this specifically because it has Jason Alexander. I can't stand that fucking guy. He seems like such a prick. His energy is dogshit. He's looked 60 since he was 20 and he just gives this vibe like he's a jerk off in real life. Like his energy reaches through the TV and squeezes the joy out of anything I might be watching.
I'm a pretty big slasher fan but I had never heard of The Burning until a few years ago. Quality flick, but reminds me we haven't had a new F13th movie in 15 years!
