The Creeper is Victor Salva's alter ego fantasy. A pedophile Superman who can't be killed and can snatch any boy he likes. This really became more apparent in the sequels.

Salva is a registered sex offender. I think that’s why Dr Wolfula avoided talking about this movie.

This review pretty much captures my feelings about the movie. I'm glad I'm not alone because some of my friends think this is a really great horror flick and scorn me for feeling it's just pretty middling. Glad for the return of AHHHCTOBER; I love it when you say AHHCTOBER. Thanks for your dedication to being a great horror host. You really remind me of the days of Commander USA, Rhonda Shear, and Joe Bob Briggs. In closing, you rock.

I always found Jeepers Creepers to be a pretty scary and underrated film and the Creeper himself definitely is one of the more overlooked horror villains out there but I do agree that the characters are kind of annoying and make some very stupid decisions which does weaken the film a little bit but I still find it to be a solid horror flick.

Nothing better than new Doctor Wolfula! Woo! Keep it up, Doc.

The Dennis DePue case from Unsolved Mysteries (that the first part is inspired by) is creepy as hell.

I think this movie is freaking great. I always enjoy watching it. I can understand the criticisms of the plot dump lady and some of the dumb decisions the characters make but I still enjoy it a lot. Specially the Creeper's lore as well as the main message of the movie, the fact that the main guy is doomed from the start yet they struggle all the way to the end just to fail is not anti-climactic to me whatsoever, it makes sense and it made for a very intense ending.

I remember when I first got this from the library. Watched it, thought “hey that was pretty good” Then I decided to read about it and saw that the director is uhhhh....yeah. Kinda ruined my day lmao 7:43 is especially disgusting upon rewatches

The only problem I have with this movie, is they cut the scene showing the Creeper speak. That scene added SO MUCH with just one line of dialogue.

The original is such an underrated film. One of my favorites!! The scene where the creeper eats the tongue of the cops severed head disturbed me to no end!!🤢🤮

The "funky 80s" version was actually a totally different song, Peek a boo, by Siouxsie & the Banshees, a pioneer punk band that effectively invented Goth

If i judged awesome art on the character of the artist, I would never have any art to enjoy. This film is AWESOME.

Jeepers Creepers is one of my favorite horror movies.

I think it would’ve been better without the psychic character. I liked the beginning when it was a mysterious truck whose driver you didn’t really get a good look at and I think it they had too much explanation and showing the creeper too much. They could’ve had the characters somehow figure out some details about the Creeper themselves and left a lot of it a mystery.

This is a good example of "Simpsons did it." Nothing is original, it's all about how you make the trope your own. The only thing Pennyswise and The Creeper have in common is their feeding time limit, otherwise they're totally different. Pennywise is a Lovecraftican horror from space and The Creeper isn't really explained, but he's probably a demon or something.

Actually a pretty decent horror film for the times. Pretty much the only horror film I can think of that was any good that came out round about that time period. Victor salva though that's what ruins it knowing what and who he is that's the real monster I suppose
