Sorry I've been gone for so long, somebody close to me went through a tragedy and I've been helping 'em deal with it best I can. I'm gonna be getting back into a regular schedule after this! -Cyd
Rooster Montgomery this was back in a time when Porn was a little more tasteful and artsy, it wasn’t like Brazzers or Bangbros where is was sleazy. They’d air it in theaters and it was available to rent.
Love this film! Even the Remake isn’t half bad and I’d probably consider it to be one of my favorite Remakes! Both the original Part 2 and the Remakes Part 2 are terrible.
brad this is one of the rare ocassions when a remake takes a decent movie with a good concept and improves on it making a classic. this is what remakes should do rather then taking classics and redoing them worse
4:45 "Yes, the most defenseless..." that ALWAYS catches me off guard, leaving me vulnerable to the one-two punch of _Fear and Loathing_ and _Spaceballs_ references
I know this video is a year old but whatever. I thought I was the only one who thought The Hills Have Eyes was about (somehow) sentient hills with actual eyes, which actually does not sound like a very bad idea.
Glad to see you back. Fun fact...this is the first new video you have made since i discovered your channel, although i have watched probably 30-40 of your videos in that time.
I'll be meeting Michael Berryman at Sinister Creature Con this coming month, so the timing to this upload was rather impeccable on your part. \m/ Nice to have you back, doctor.
Great review, really happy to have you back Doc! Are you going to do streams anymore, or is that done? I can totally see why if it is finished. P.S : Thank you for that image of the literal hills that have eyes, it will now burn into my memory.
I remember when my granddad first mentioned this film to me when I was younger and I watched it a few years later and liked it. I'll have to get it on DVD one of these days since I have the remake and its sequel.
"He is maybe no better no better than the savages that attacked his family" I don't get why is that a bad thing. They aren't really in a civilized place where they can call the police or anything like that, they are in the middle of the desert and they got pretty brutalized themselves, I mean why should you give a shit about people that that already killed and raped members of your family?
That is an insane subtext though. Doug realizing he may be just as bad as his brutalizers? So what he should have just let them eat the baby? Let them get away with what they did? The cannibal family weren't going to quit so the normal family should just let themselves be victimized? This is why hippies don't make the best law enforcement or philosophers since they have the forward thinking of a jacka$$.
