“Went from baggin n draggin magnums to makin a opus” he was too smooth with it. I will be listening to this man’s music for the rest of my life. RIP Ka and thank you 🙏
Hole in a heart, but the king has left his kingdom for us to live in. I feel wrong to be 22yo white, european fan of his masterwork. So unaware of his surrounding, everyday life in Brooklyn, cold poetry and subjects that he evokes. Yet it resonated with me on a sacred level. Especially Days With Dr Yen Lo. ''Now speak Preservation...'' As a christian I will pray for your soul, Ka. And souls of those in grief. A prayer doesn't hold any barrier. No matter where are we from. Love from Poland
My friend Victor killed himself the other day. He was an underground rapper, and one of my fondest memories of him is when I had the honor of showing him Ka's music for the first time, starting with this song. His eyes lit up and he had a huge grin on his face from the very first bar. I'll never forget it. His head bobbed with the beat, and you could tell he shut everything out and was really listening. He recognized a master instantly. Thanks, Ka, and R.I.P. Vic.
Son said....... "Grip the eagle in a green regal/live illegal/deceitful/get the cream I got a sweet tooth/bend ya queen up like a cheap boot/creep through/one piece that's not a ski suit/squeeze a few I heard geese flew/keep a freak at least 2/turn the weak beef to BBQ/then get GQ/ma u need cue/make bitches rock something to see through! " 😤😤😤😤😤😤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Nigga why????
@Ice man deadass I thought he said "ma u need cue" as if he was telling her what to do bcuz the next bar was"Make bitches rock something to see through." Thought he was doing his rosebudd pimp talk. 😆
this type of shit gives me strength mentally and physically....The whole project is solid, and this is by far the best shit of 2015....waiting patiently for metal clergy.
The first time I listened to this project, I liked 3 songs.. then I kept listening and every 2-3 days I realized the brilliance in another song.. now it just plays all the way through.. KA is lyrical genius personified
"Squeeze a few I heard geese flew" man you killin em roc put the mic down. I swear him and ka are like rap silent assassin's. They need to hurry up and put that metal clergy out.
I remember when I first heard this while I was driving, since Ka didn't have any names listed Roc's verse caught me off guard in the best way. Both did amazing on this.
"Nine Spray" is still my favorite collab from these two cats, love all their music, can't wait much longer for "Metal Clergy" or Roc's "Rosebudd's Revenge", need more from these cats....
...*Props in Here...Call Me Papa Bear...thats how I Porridge/pour-it/poor-rich Righteous bars, as far as your Syntax, Inset/Insects* ... This why KA is my favorite writer ever. Subtle imagery, word play, entendres.... Thee only artist I buy every single thing they drop from.
Incredibly intrigued as to see what they can do with Metal Clergy. The collaboration with these 3 dudes just makes too much sense. Always in heavy rotation.
I love this music im from Cali LA but real talk the best underground rap artist MC's is from the eastcoast please yall keep doing it dont stop. Much love
@@lamontlauren367 Man I'm tripping - my eye's playing tricks on me or wishful thinking - i thought your comments was saying that a new Ka/Roc Marciano album is coming out in a few days lol. Yeah I got that new ALC Roc album, straight bangers on it.
