My KLR grips were glued on from the factory too.

I was able to blow mine up like a balloon to free the glue on the KLR, XR, and TW. These were so tight it was like they were melted on or something! I've never seen anything like it 😂

I heat gun’d mine off my ‘23 KLR, no prob. Just had to go slow as to not burn the rubber
