that really is a wyvern of the sea! it looks incredibe and seems like a ton of fun to use, and imagine having your taming pen be close to a shore with this fellow waiting in it. no more tranq ammo required!
I got distracted and forgot to mention this, but that danger dragon sea flap flap is GORGEOUS and awesome. However. I cannot beign to describe the amount of thalassaphobia-induced anxiety i got from when you weren't mounted and looked out with the ocean fog enabled, and there was nothing visible aside on the UI.
Oh wow, that is such a cool creature! I love the design, the animations are gorgeous and how it how it rests upside down like the real animal floats is such a nice detail.
i remember watching you doing those massive spore creatures years ago, and for some reason, seeing you pop up out of nowhere on my recommendations, doing ark content no less, made me unreasonably happy

Be warned, there's a little glitch with its "idle flipping" animation, namely being it seems to always move to the surface when doing said animation, no matter the depth. I was in the deep sea, gathering pearls, saw an Alpha Mosa coming, decided to skidaddle, turned around just to see my Glaucus peace out to the surface lmfao Edit: Nevermind, seems its intended and i was just being a dumbass lol
The Taming and breeding method for these is awesome. It's melee damage is about as high as an Alpha Mosa and the lightning breath is a tad on the OP side. The drain on it's power bar is simply not high enough even without Biotoxin in it's inventory it takes WAY too long to drain out when using the lightning stream / breath. It is the fastest thing in water hands down it will outrun Dolphins or anything else and it should be Mosa speed. The Model and animations are amazing.
If anyone has trouble getting these guys to breed like i did, first disable their little upside down floating animation and that fixes it and allows them to mate
Very nice that they added them spawning at higher levels, I was going to mention that they would be at a disadvantage due to not receiving taming levels

This is an amazing creation. Tried it out and it's honestly amazing. May be comming back to it in the future. As I'm still biased to Garugas AA creatures. Deserved to be in the community crunch. Honestly
I am so excited for the Acro TLC, Garuga has done such an incredible job with it so far. I feel like this Draconis Glaucus would fit really well with Garuga's collection 💕
I'm glad Garugas focus is on actual dinosaurs that still fit quite well into vanilla. That way other people can be creative too. Hes carrying enough already. And yeah I'm really excited to see the New Acrocanthosaurus. My biggest hope is that he didn't change the sound effects. Music to my ears
Oooh I haven't heard the new Acro's sounds yet, if they changed at all. But the design is eye candy. I'm so excited for the new Anomalocaris too! And I agree with you entirely, I'm super glad he's handling the real-world animals while others like Myrmecoleon create this awesome imaginative designs
I definitely call it "The Birds of the Sea" which most likely due to its flippers that has many spikes resembles bird wings which this thing looks like it's flying
I'm pretty sure they fixed the crashing problem on ARK survival ascended! But in ARK survival evolved it's still very glitchy and will crash so beware of that!
I just realized that this creature is heavily inspired by the sea slug called blue dragon. They're actually super tiny and are dangerous to hold in your hands.
Im late seeing this but its reasons like this that i cant play the base game, this is so amazing looking but again it did increase the amount of jelly hell in the ocean but still amazing.
I can already see myself dying in the starting phase once I feed the jelly fish it’s just gunna stun the shit out of me before I can get back on the basi hahaha
Hunting for one of these on my Basilosaurus. Got it to counter the stunning. Luckily levelling isn't much of an issue due to being level 217 after taming (was level 145 when I found it).
I installed this the moment I saw in the mod trailer and found a lvl 180 near my base. Unfortunately I was experiencing a bug cause I fed that thing about 50 jellyfish with no response from the sea dragon
Nice review and video! Btw how is your eater without the blur ? Mine although i have the motion blur etc off its still blury and even maxed charged i cannot see my Glaucus glowing like yours.
It’s the underwater fog if you turn it off with the admin command along with clouds it helps the lag a lot but you wouldn’t happen to know how to get the chibi of him would you?
Hey :) thank you. I normally removed the clouds the fog i try to remove but normally it wont work. The chibi i have one. It dropped every time you kill an alpha Glaucus :) as long as a bp for the saddle
I don't know anyone playing Ark Ascended over Survival Evolved save for streamers. I'll stick with SE until Ark 2, I'm sure we'll see this in a mod soon
I know a few non-creators in my community who are playing Ascended but overall, I get what you mean, it does seem like most players are more interested in Survival Evolved still. I'm personally waiting for Scorched Earth and Aberration (my 2 fav maps) before I dig into it
Come to give a warning for those using the dino tracker mod. When loading the list, if any of this creature are on the map and you try to load the list at all the game will crash. I had my game crash around four times before I figured this out.

Unfortunately, it's gate kept, only being exclusive to read in their Discord. Not just that, but the command doesn't follow the typical spawn formula/code Ark and other mdls follow. Cheat sdf Glaucus (0/1) [Level of choice] 1 Use 0 for a wild spawn, 1 for tamed.
Though I'd hold off on the mod, much as I love this creature. The moderator, in the Discord server, was rather pushy and rude. Not just that, but the kept coming at me, twice, after I politely stated I'd like to talk with the developer on the issues I was experiencing. Still haven't heard back in DM's, but I also know things like that can take time.
@@shadedshadowmc no you right it worked I found a low level one and once you use Dino depot to capture it, it tells you the command I need alpha now tho for chibi bec I can’t find one.

Question, how did you get your ocean to look like that. I don’t like the normal ocean look so I put volumetric fog 0. Though it’s better I don’t like it either. Yours seems to be the perfect in between
Hey! I entered "r.VolumetricFog 1" in the console command, 1 introduces fog and 0 removes it. Not to be confused with "r.VolumetricCloud 0", which removes the sky clouds for a massive FPS gain. Otherwise I have all of my graphics settings set to Medium, except for Anti Aliasing on Low, General Shadows on High, and Resolution Scale 100 I have noticed that throughout the day my fog will seem to disappear and looks like I have it set to 0. It seeeems to be that ambient fog is somewhat tied to the time of day (or the lighting?) so sometimes I have to switch to 08:00am to get ideal ocean lighting for the videos. It's gradual and doesn't happen often but it's very odd when it does, still investigating it.
You'll find them floating at the surface of the water, pretty much everywhere in the oceans. I found a lot around Herbivore Island. Generally, you should always do a Wild Dino Wipe when adding new creature mods
Any reason they won’t fight I feed one 75 jellyfish and it still wouldn’t fight but the position of mine was different then the one in the video can’t figure out why it won’t fight back after the feeding
There is currently a bug for consoles that Myrmecoleon has already pushed a fix for, but CurseForge is being slow to approve. Sit tight, they're actively working on it!

It's not a dino that's part of the original game files. You need to go to mods list and install the mod first. Then you need to activate it to your save before you get back to playing it.
