I’ll be making a video on exotechnology soon (man do I have a lot of information to say on the subject), it just seems like way too much to put into this video.
It makes me laugh the fact that draedon goes on a rant explaining every detail of his exo tech, like an autistic child talking about his favorite shark
What i got from this: -Draedon is an eco terrorist -He doesnt understand why people hate him for being an eco terrorist -Absolutely despise the name Skeletron Prime
Draedon in a nutshell: i make literal atrocities to foward science and knowledge, without regards for the enviorment or its ecosystems. i also somehow made infinite energy and used it to make two flying eyeballs, an absurdly long and dangerous snek, and a skeleton (?) armed with an unlimited amount of nukes. i also hate names that arent of my choosing, especially those that contain the words "skeletron" and "prime"
I really enjoy the lore bits of Calamity. It is crazy that this is the only channel that has ever extensively talked about calamity lore, at least as far as I'm aware
Yeah, there really hasn’t been anyone since photon did his animated series on the old lore, which is kind of weird considering that there’s so much to talk about
Fun fact of the day: yharim says that draedon is on the brink of apotheosis in the exo mech lore item. Apotheosis us the proccess of becoming a god. All the auric souls ate taken at this point. I am having a panic attack
I thought that apotheosis was the process of becoming "Godlike" rather than actually achieving godhood? And iirc isn't the player also described as standing on the edge of apotheosis after defeating scal or am I mixing things up with that
@@Null24 taken literally, apotheosis is just 'the act of someone turning into a god'. Also the Cynosure lore item (the one post SCal and Exos) states you hold the power the dragons held, not exactly that you are becoming a god. Still very interesting how the player apparently just ascended to draconic levels of power, though
@@endymon5240In terms of Draconic Power. Zeratros the King of Dragons is equal in strength to Yharim himself. So we've pretty much ascended to Yharim's level.
What else do I name something that looks like a mechanical Skeletron and two similar machines that work in tandem? As for HM-(what was it again?), I mainly named it that for killing a large part of my city's population, but I admit to my lack of fantasy there
Alright so, most important things I'm getting from this mini-rewrite: We have a vague idea of what time the game takes place in. Considering the crusade lasted decades, and it's likely been quite some time afterwards, we're likely in the late 1800s / early 1900s. We already knew Calamitas' power wasn't from birth due to the bestiary entry, but the origin has been pinpointed to the Brimstone Elemental. The fact that she presumably lost all of this power when Calamitas somehow took it, and was still on equal footing with her tells me that the Brimstone Elemental was INSANELY powerful in her prime, possibly rivaling even Zeratros. It's certainly going to be interesting when they expand upon her lore. Oh, and we named the mechanical trio. This is just a hunch, but this may be a small teaser to the Terrarian having some defined character traits.
I feel like calamitas didn’t take the powers from the brimstone elemental, especially considering how the clone got some power (then again it’s hard to say for sure)
@@Midnight_Minute I wasn't implying she forcibly took it from the Brimstone Elemental. The bestiary entry specifically describes her as INHERITING the power. Meaning there's some kind of connection between the two.
Love that draedon got a bit more lore out of this update. Hes my guy out of the big three, others being calamitas and yharim. What can i say, I'm a sucker for machinery.
A person mentioned how I would think towards martians and here’s my answer. They are advanced in tech however they use it for primitive activities like ravaging planets.

Terrarian lore is up to you! The devs purposely made the Terrarian to be a blank slate so that ppl can make their own head canon and story for the Terrarian
This was actually one of my favorite parts of the new update, we got sooo much lore from this update. The coolest part for me was the lore for the Distortion and also info about Noxus. Draedon learned a large amount about the Distortion, yet DoG doesn't seem to bothered by it, which means Draedon hasn't discovered something DoG wouldn't want... I also liked the part when Yharim swore to never see Draedon again after the plague incident, but after getting bodied by Braelor+Statis, he immediately asked Draedon for help to enhance his armor lol I really hope we get something like this for Calamitas in the future where we learn more about her. Anways, Great vid! You summarized Draetalk very nicely! (Now we just gotta wait for Draedate👀)
in the future, if they still decide to go with it, will you also make a vid about draedate or nah??? I know it wont be super serious but it be pretty funny. (draedate is gfb equivalent of draetalk, basically draetalk but not sillier)
I’d probably approach it similarly to the April fools takeover event, obviously he isn’t canonically playing ultrakill but there is some more relevant stuff in that event

No because Yharim’s armor is properly attuned, but you had to do a mock treatment so you’re basically forcing the armor to not actively kill you. If you had a proper attunement, then I suppose so
@@Midnight_Minute If i am correct they(the devs) are making a exo armor so its cannon that the player cam make exotech or i think so it is so how hard can it really be for the player to create a armor similar to yharim with proper attunement because we already have the power and tools to do it but uh forcing draedon to making one will probably not achieve it{i missunderstood attunement}
@@theoverpreparerlamenters3r436 being attuned to a dragon seems to be the answer, yharim is attuned to yharon, basically like some sort of blood pact, only this time with the soul if im not mistaken, yharim was worthy of using this metal and with it he made his armor which is extraordinary powerful... the player in the other hand... is not attuned to anything, in fact we killed the last dragon... but with that we use yharon's soul fragments to be able to make a mock version, less powerful, but still strong Is funny that we instead of consuming yharon's soul to become a god, we just use it to upgrade weaponry
@@sebasblos1because we don t actually fully kill yharon , remember , his soul is tied to yharim , the most we can do is collect small pieces of yharon s soul and turning him back into an egg to regenerate himself. And unfortunately for us , yharon s shards souls can t be absorved by us , the most we can do with this is force the shards into an auric bar and make it into weapons and armor. Maybe after defeating yharim we can actually absorb the soul of yharon , but judging on how many times we shattered his soul , that soul ain t never gonna make us that incredibly strong since is pretty weakened. So we d still have a hard tine against noxus and xeroc.
