CycleDrag I hit 289 pound 🦌 whitetail buck in the woods on a (1996 Honda CR80-R) going about 65 mph while I was riding alone in Thompson CT on my family’s 50 acre farm.. I flew off the bike into an 18 inch oak tree 🌳 that was about 40 feet from where the deer had jumped out in front of me.. I was knocked out cold for god knows how long & when came to I had to drag myself back out of the woods about 30 mins out from any phone or vehicle with 2 broken thumbs - a broken collarbone & my left ankle bones basically blown to bits.. Don’t ride alone & wear your gear folks !!

CycleDrag Now I ride a (03 Kawasaki KLX 400-SR) It’s been heavily modified with - Flatland Racing radiators with billet guards / Vapor-Trail-Tachometer / full MRD Racing exhaust / 39mm keihin FCR carburetor / J&J Jetting kit / 3x3 Air Box Mod / Racing clutch assembly / Fly racing handlebars - Risers / Lithium ion battery swap / Renthal sprockets / Extra set of tires - rims - one set up for street & the other set for the trail riding / The bike also came with a 39cc big bore kit to make it feel more like a 450cc.. Speaking about boring I’m not going to mention any more of the smaller upgrades 😆.. At this point in my life I can literally go anywhere on this adventure/duel-sport bike.. & I’m so damn glad I didn’t end up getting that street bike I was also looking during the same time because this bike brings me places a street bike would never imagine... At some point I would really like to dyno my bike to see exactly what it’s making for Hp & Torque.. Always wear you’re protective equipment they are called accidents for a reason & try to ride in groups... Have a safe summer fellow motorcycle enthusiasts!!

I've got my eye on the new 2022 anniversary edition Honda CBR RR-R Fireblade but Im almost positive that the wife would divorce me if I even mentioned it to her because she just found out how much I spent on the 22 M1000rr! Interesting and great reporting ! Personally,, if it's not street legal, not for me. I have two Ducaties I run as my every day drivers as well 1/4 mile , track days and street racing. The 2021 Street Fighter, factory Mat Black, 1103 cc V4 STILL under factory warranty, is a sleeper, 0 to 100 under 4 seconds 9.54 1/4 mile 207 rear wheel horse 415 lbs.12,000 miles in 14 months. the 2017 Panigale 1299s, last of the big twin, 0 to 100 4.1 seconds, 9.80 1/4 mile 198 at the rear wheel BUT 398 lbs lightest of all super bikes ! Top speed 201 MPH. GPS verified. Any thing above 180 MPH spedo goes blank.23,000 miles in 3 years ONLY mods are Akrapovic Titanium race exhaust MAP upgrade and low restriction air filter on both. The Street Fighter is a very forgiving bike, BUT the 1299, NO launch control, will kill you . Takes practice to get it off the line without looping it.. OH,, I'm 73 and 180 lbs. When I take my helmet off the cops SHIT !!. I NEVER run, There radios are faster then my bikes..

@@cycledrag 201 MPH on the street with the 2017 Panigale 1299s, scare BUT comfortable and controllable. On the other hand the 2021 Street Fighter 1103 V4s @ 190, the wind wants too separate me from the bike. above 150, scary. The fairings on the Panigale make the difference. You ride the Street Fighter, you are part of the Panigale and react as one ..

Top fuel engines are turned over with no spark to take out Nitro then started with pump gasoline then the nitro is turned on once the pump gas starts it. I was told this in amazement by a top fuel dragster racer.

@@cycledrag Love the channel! Love 2 wheels, gonna get a Fat Boy finally. (With some serious engine mods💪💪😎) Rode for many years. Scariest moment was when I was 9 or 10 on the back of my dad's bike. We were turning left at a 4 way stop, and the oncoming car started crossing just as we were mid turn! I looked right at that woman and she literally looked right through us!! Like we weren't even there. Dad gunned it and we made it but I'll never forget her face. She literally drove right through us. Never even slowed down

Nitromethane is a very uncompressible, dense fuel. This is why raw fuel comes out of the pipes on startup. If it lights during startup and the cylinders have residual fuel in them, that's called a "hydraulic". It's a BOOM, it if ignites. This is why you always spin the motor over, plugs out, on any bike nitro motor, if you suspect you have raw fuel in the cylinders. Fuel dragster motors are more forgiving, just make sure the dual mags are grounded. Nitromethane is NOT your friend.

@@cycledrag , just a gearhead with a lifelong addiction to racing gasoline (116 ROM), methanol and nitromethane ( with a small percentage of methanol) in any internal combustion engine for most of my life. My Momma said I was probably born with 80W blood in my veins.

Ill tell ya.. nothing like recovering from an injury, ask me how i know lol.. those road rash scars never go away, i got em on every limb i actually ground my ankle flat once... and 10 inch patches of raw flesh is awkward and uncomfortable to live with but the long term reality of being all banged up now that im getting older i notice how hard it is to move like i used to when i was bullet proof..

Back in 2010 I witnessed that a bulletproof vest isn't a guarantee to survive a TF explosion. @ the dragstrip Drachten The Netherlands, John van Geytenbeek died due to internal injuries, I guess. It was hars to witness and I wil never forget.....

@@cycledrag I've always been a dirt rider myself because I don't like the idea of being run over by a stupid driver in a vehicle but I've rode since I was 13 on my 1978 Honda XL 175 and worked my way up to a 1985 Honda CR 480 which was the 1st time i seriously got hurt at the age of 18 when I went for a ride after school and I Luv Hill Climbing so i hit the tallest trail on the hill and i guess the rain had washed the leaves down the trail and i couldn't see the tree roots and when my back tire grabbed hold and instantly flipped me completely over on my back with the on me which broke my right arm and i had to pick the bike up ride home with a broken arm and the scariest thing was telling my mom i got hurt but i have major respect for motorcycles and especially the Riders. Luv your videos and Thank YOU for being so Cool👍🏻😎👍🏻
