Word is, Citroen will launch updated C3 and C3 Aircross with the much awaited feel good features in July. Hope they market it well or they would leave India again. These are no-nonsense cars which have all the basics right.

@@warmfishsalad true. Heard that as well. It's sad that they didn't launch the complete car at launch. Receiving these upgrades in installments really hurts a car this capable. Didn't they learn from Kia or MG on how to launch a car! These 2 are literally worthy of an IIM case study on how to study and enter with a bang.

@@moneymafia382yeah, also, they need to work on their marketing and advertisement to match up their game with others because Citroën is not taken as seriously as it should be in India. Right now, they are just being overlooked in terms of their driving dynamics just because they lack some features.

C3 will win that one, followed by fronx, followed by virtus. In a longer stretch, virtus beats both fronx and c3.

@@shubhamthakur8530 Yep, it is quicker to 100 kmph due to shorter gearing and the torque assist from its 48V electric motor. Virtus would take the lead in the top end. Fronx has good midrange and more useable power for daily rides.

They are not making cars for you who wants features. They are making cars for people to enjoy driving a car for what it is and have comfortable journey and not waste money on unnecessary things called features.. Plain and simple.

​@@mageshmac4716 I would've agreed with you if it missed only gimmicky features... But it missed basic amenities like doorside power windows, pull type door handles, led headlights, etc considering the price point 😢

@@gokulkalloor the rear power windows in middle is same as in Alto K10 but I accept this should be on door. I have 2001 Santro still running fine which has this old style door handles but no one bothers about it when they sit inside. Halogen headlight is better in rain compared to Led headlights. Below 10Lakhs none of the cars have C3's drivability, comfort or performance. What do you prefer ?

Bro, Fronx Turbo is More than 200kg lighter than Taigun 1.0 TSI. Nothing can compare to the VW turbo engines

@@SajjadKhan-nv2td You are right but it also makes close to 18 PS and 30 NM more and power to weight ratio is similar. M sure the 1.0 TSI will have a better top end, but suzuki's boosterjet is pretty quick for its modest power figures. Other than the comparatively lower weight of fronx, I think it's their 48V mild hybrid system (with torque assist) that's responsible for the peppy nature of fronx.

Provably the Vw has a faster gearbox ratios.

Fronx turbo despite making 20 bhp and 30 nm less is quicker than taigun in 0-100 and quarter mile. Does it mean the 1.0 boosterjet engine of Suzuki is better than 1.0 tsi engine of VW/Skoda? Of course fronx is lighter, but if you compare power/weight ratio, the difference isn't that much.

Safety and quality is what you pay for in the taigun

@@M.ayaan21 safety is there even in Tiago these days.. C3 Turbo is also safe with good build quality(need to wait for gncap). Anyway, if you are going to pay 6Lkhs more for an inferior car for travelling(not about driving) where your family is not comfortable (due to less space, stiff suspension), then U need to reconsider your decisions if you care about ur family.

@@mageshmac4716 I've owned multiple German cars and I've also driven the c3, if you really think the c3 even comes close to the taigun in terms of quality then I'm sorry to say this but you don't really know a lot about cars. Citroen isn't giving any importance to us(Indians) they're launching a car with absolutely basic features at a very low price, just because the Indian market is very price sensitive. The ride and handling balance is good, what you're getting is a car which shouldn't cost more than 7 lakhs on the road. And as far as safety goes, a Tiago can have 5 stars but it's the active safety features which make the difference. The structural rigidity of the chassis and the platform matters. C3 isn't as sturdy as a Tiago and I don't think you compare it to a taigun. So clearly I wouldn't mind paying 2 lakhs more for the base variant of a taigun over the c3. It handles better, it's safe and it's a car which is at least 2 notches above the c3. So I don't you tell me if I care about my family or not. I know what I need and I know how to look after my family.

@@M.ayaan21 I never compared quality of C3 to Taigun but the quality you are speaking about seems to be about features which is not so important for travelling. Quality provided in C3 is similar to cars costing 5-6Lkhs and that's fine for its cost.. also I spoke about the Turbo which performs better than Taigun. Also Taigun is not comfortable to travel. Better comfort is available in C3 Aircross compared to C3. Come to reality than justifying your decision.. I also mentioned about comfort for passengers and not about driving in my previous message.

The simple fact is, you think differently from me mate, enjoy whatever car you want.

It's quite fun to see these drag races so if you don't like it just don't watch simple

nobody is allowed to race on any public road in the world. Drag races are just fun, albeit these cars are just slow for any fun
