We were looking for a compact SUV for my wife. This car wasn't on our shortlist. Out of sheer curiosity, we went to the citroen showroom in Baner, Pune. The car is over 4m and not exactly a "compact" so we were a little apprehensive. Took a TD including a good bit of soft roading. Loved it and booked it right there. I've spent over 15 years working in the auto industry but lesson learnt all over again - when you get the basics right, everything else just falls by the wayside.
In India no one cares about Ride Quality. If Citroen pasted a 17 inch laptop on the dashboard, it would be loved more by Indians than actually driving dynamics. We love to sit in a car and feel like we are sitting in an office.
I am happy that Powerdrift has not kept an elitist mindset with this review and have tried to understand the strategy behind Citroen price positioning and value of its cars
I don't need panoramic sunroof which is quite impractical in India. I don't need funky features ,like ventilated seats, ADAS, All automatics of lights, wipers, ac. Etc., I just need a ride and handling and comforts. Best fit in budget. I think this is the car.
I booked the c3 aircross after 9 months of research.. Best car with comfort as its dna .. I bought tata punch and was disappointed now selling my punch to get the c3 aircross.. I did a test drive and wow feels like a car with power and pleasure . It is happy to take pot holes and bad ridges in national high ways because that is the place which it can show how unique is it from its rivals ... When u want 50 % power to overtake it will deliver u 80%.. percent .. Its my request pls all people of india take a test drive of this car and see how well it performs... Ur family in the second row ur kids everyone will have such a comfortable journey...
Done over 2.5k kms, performing flawlessly. Always making reasons to drive, so smooth, fun & comfortable it is to drive. Very spacious & practical too. Excellent car for the price.

Great SUV , Turbo Engine with torque converter with Citroen ride quality at that price is unbelievable, Citroen just needs to ramp up dealer network - FAST.

I don't know much about the pricing of this car and even being an Indian i find it confusing when people ask less price and more of idk what from a car. Just like an arranged marriage (Usual story is youll end up buying 😅 something that youll have to love later on as the relationship with the machine progress lol [this doesn't include those people who are just buying a car for the sake of getting a 'CAR' to commute as in you don't have any further feelings for it]😂). The technical specs of this car seems really good tbh they have a reputation for good ride comfort cuz of their suspension technology. All i care about as someone who loves to drive is how its gonna perform keeping in mind that everybody has different tastes and looks are subjective. Loved them in the rallys but lets see how they are gonna be in India for the coming years.

This is a great car with great ride quality and engine not like those with gimmicky features and missing main aspects of a car. People should take a test drive of this beautiful piece of machine before buying any other so called gimmicky SUVs. Special thanks to @powerdrift team for making this wonderful video
We've been anticipating for the C3 Aircross to be released in Indonesia alongside eC3. Alas, the local brand holder/importer was so slow to take action. People who initially put down payments on C3 Aircross and eC3 decided to pull out after no certain confirmation on when their car is going to arrive here in Indonesia, most of which were eC3 orders. This made me sad because I do like the C3 Aircross, but seeing it not being released on time and then having customer pull out on their down payment. Made me pessimistic if we could ever have this on our roads.
Kudos to Powerdrift team, excellent presentation to cover up all the grounds of a this SUV, and to showcase it's more than it's potential. Looking forward.
Still lags many features. Citroen should launch a top variant of this product with additional features like 6 airbags, push button start, automatic climate control, cruise control, LED headlamps, Sunroof. Let customer choose which variant and features they want in addition to Citroen's superb suspension, ride quality and comfort.
Apart from cruise control and to some extent climate control rest aint quintessential i dont understand why sunroof is so fancied in a tropical country
People will understand its vfm quotient if u make a video of same price models of all cars...like nexon , sonet, creta,xuv300, brezza and seltos......compare the models which came at same price of every brand....ek video to bnta h boss....this car has better fit and finish than most 4mtr compact suvs....have better paint quality as well....no comparison of suspension and engine at this price point....even this engine can put 1.0 tsi on shame in performance dept....
Considering this for my upgrade to 6+ seater from SCross. I will wait for BNCAP rating with 6 airbags and also cruise control, reverse camera and rear wiper. Other funky features like sun roof, ventilated seats are ober rated and really not needed.
Not sure if the script for this video was also written in France (😉) but at least where I am from I don't have to pay for gifts that others are giving to me.
I own a Citreon c3, excellent car with best in class ride quality, basics are all right and all necessary features are provided. Save 2 lakh over less spacious punch. This covered my fuel upto 30k km which is currently my odo. So thanks Citreon 😊
You spoke about comfort without mentioned about cruise control - a crucial comfort feature for long distance drives. This car does NOT have cruise control. why?
ahh damn the script writer doesn’t know about Kailasa temple of Ellora or the Meenakshi Amman temple or the Brihadeeswara temple of Tamil Nadu or the Virupaksha, Halebeedu and Chennakeshava temples of Karnataka or the Dilwara Jain temples of Rajasthan.. all that the person knows about is the Qutub minar and the Taj Mahal.. sigh!

Great engine and suspension. But the chepo interior put together without any thought lets it down. IMO, its not acceptable for a 15-16L car. I am not even asking for auto-ac or sunroof! What I am asking for is door mounted controls. Front Passenger door handle, front passenger arm rest. Good quality plastic, better rear AC to mention some.
Such a nice and innovative way of presenting a car .But don't take me wrong for asking this, Why cant you bring in the Tanjore Brahadeeshwar temple which is older than Taj mahal for its stability. why cant you bring in the Ajanta and Ellora caves which stand strong even after mughal Invation twice for its stability. Why is it always Taj mahal and Qutub minar , both in text books and RU-vid?
it has led drls keyless entry start stop mild hybrid not a button start stop and just seating position and comfort cannot express now your choice value for money or useless sunroof features which are not used once in a year
Amazing advertisements, they didn't talk about negatives at all. 😂😂😂 last row is completely useless, even kids can't sit comfortably. Rear vent is just a blower fan not ac. Also, misses the wow features. But I agree about a good ride quality with a 17 inch tyre, beautiful 10 inch display and nice discounts. I took a test ride but 3rd row comfort was a deal breaker for me.
The rear blower in C3 aircross works better than proper rear AC vents of lots of cars. It works really well in passing on on the cold air from the front side to rear occupants in no time.

Poverty spec for India while other companies offer more for the same price. Citroen needs to understand that value doesn't necessarily mean cheapening out on comfort or features or performance.
Don't buy....parts not available anywhere, Citroen valo ke pass bhi nahi... mere pass aircros he, 35 days ho gaya gadi carvis centre me padi hai,bada issue he..😢
The company is a fraud sold me mid varient for higher amount than the top model woth a faulty gearbox also had other issues in the car. Service centre takes 10 on review forcefully and the technicians are untrained as they couldn't install company oem camera and broke the parts theu opened in the car. Service on wheels they say ots for people living 100km away from service center. Steering wheel makes noise .. showroom sales people misguide and are mot helpful as they gave me a dented car and without a PDI. My race pedal is making noise and power window control of back seat is coming out. Lost of ratling noise while driving. Old rusting noise incline while pressing the breaks .. No solution provided after multiple attempts at the customer care service or emails... They say 72 hours quiery will be solved its been 1 month no one has any answer to what so ever ive complaint againt
please tell the frenchs that Indians are now more safety focused .. they need to get their vehicles crash tested , six airbags if not mandatory but atleast an option .. 360 degree camera atleast an option . tell the french we are willing to pay the price.. the company has to honour the requests and demands of Indians in terms of the options .. increase the price . no one cares anymore about the price point in india at least not the ones who are buying Tata and Mahindra. the french do have double standards for their own people and us indians and it shows in their products . please compare the features and safety of french c3 aircross. I am not asking for roof and luxury features but safety cannot be compromised nor the test rating. now we have bncap . atleast get the vehicle test rated. because of no six airbags they will not get 5 stars. and there goes the value . the body comparision must also be done . show case your product like the one where hyundai showed the new creata impact zones.
