I got to say, I have not seen such a fun, story-filled season with so much personality in a really long time. All the queens were fierce and brought something special! I will really miss this season
The fact that most Filipinos LOVE the Maxie-Angel moment says a lot. The few Fiipinos who don't probably didn't grew up on Filipino TV and/or never experienced baranggayan drag.

I thought Maxie bringing up Angel during the lipsinc was so touching, and I loved it. I honestly was hoping for Maxie vs Tita Baby too but deep inside I knew it would be Kianna. They were all amazing!! I love that Maxie was focused on trying to help others just starting out in drag and learning. I am sad it's over. I will definitely tune in for Drag Race Thailand (my 2nd fav). I am excited for a season 4 of DRPH!!
Based on the talent shows I agree. It was Maxie and Tita Baby who made a mark for me! But I'm also glad the show respected the track records and Khianna's more than worthy to be Top 2 as well!!! Thanks so much for being with us on this ride!!!!

Maxie's winning lipsync performance was SO ON BRAND of her. If I remember it correctly in Myx Chanel's podcast, Angel said that their sibling moment wasn't pre-planned and that Maxie thought of it on the spot, which I believe has been very smart. It's been proven in this season, time and time again, that Maxie would choose her family, her sibling, Angel, over anyone and anything, even herself. And it's been established that she's very generous in MOREE ways than one (performances, hosting, etc.). So her letting Angel have the crown in "Lipad ng Pangarap" or "Flight of (My) Dream" is like showing that her dream is for her family to be happy and be successful, and Angel is the representation of that. To see Angel fly and reach her own dreams is the fulfillment of Maxie's dream for her family as the "Kuya sa Pamilya". With the pride flags, it could also be seen as, like, Maxie showing that it is also her dream to see her sisters in the drag and the entire LGBTQIA+ community to fly and be free, be unapologetically true to ourselves without the fear of oppression and discrimination, which she also never failed to mention in her revolutionary song performances and several speeches. That was such an intelligent way to bare her heart to the audience that she's been carrying with grace, glamour, and openness this season. I was GAGGED (bc of tears LOL). She truly is a queen.

I saw some people online saying Maxie crowning Angel was cringy? Nah that shit made me WEEP Maxie loves their family so so much and it was a huge theme of theirs throughout the whole season so that moment literally crushed me. Maxie bringing up Angel on stage was not planned. Angel just wants Maxie to use the crown as her props for the lip sync. They agreed that Angel will leave it at the side of the stage but Angel forgot and she was holding it the whole time. So when Maxie was looking for it Angel come up the stage to passed her the crown. That crowning moment just happen because Angel is already there 😂
I’m sorry but Maxie and Angel’s wig hairlines are busted…always. Closeup or not. It’s peeling off in untucked. How they were not called on that is beyond me. Michelle Visage would have said “ghurl…try to glue your wig and cover it with make up. Maybe you can learn from plastique tiara 😂
Nah. I’m Filipino and I don’t agree that Angel should’ve went up there. It was a Lipsync between Khianna and Maxie and it’s unfair for Khianna that Angel was up there and even walked past her as she was doing her final pose. It’s not a culture thing. It’s a competition thing. So let’s not use “cultural differences” as an excuse for that moment because from a competition standpoint even as a Filipino, it felt distasteful.
