So Sick Seconds 2.0 might be out of Drag Week but the Sick team is still going to cover the event. There's some big hitters in attendance and the one who made the best runs in testing was Ned Dunphy and his SMX (Steve Morris Engines) Dodge Viper. Ned was there last year but has license issues but this year he is ready to go! Bryant Goldstone is also there, so too is Dave Schroeder and Alex Taylor. Mike Finnegan's got Blasphemi back there, so it's a really good field overall. Whether it's Sick Week, Sick Summer, Rocky Mountain Race Week, Drag Week - the quality is just so high at every event even as more and more events come online.
Make sure to tune into the Motortrend Live Stream as well to keep up with the action all week.

Tracks haven't figured out that red , which is a dark color ) on a black background is illegible most of the time. Yellow is much better.

Yeah making mullet a bbc and eagle should be done for FL2K and world cup but not a drag and drive. I miss ruby but they are doing the blazer, dale truck and mcflurry, even with the big block mullet runs 630s

They're always on afterburner, running a track, 5 projects, and the biggest channel. They dump a lot of projects, too. Yet they aim to win races. Drop whatever fun they're having, dust off a car, rush to fix it up, usually no testing, and it's often disappointing. How many $100Ks they spend. How many times they turn down their monsters and rip normal folks with normal money, normal friends and family who wrench on that one baby they have. Then you see them go out racing boats or something, putting all that drag racing down while their guys fix everything for next time. I gave up taking them seriously because they just want all the fun, they can't focus on anything or they and their fans will get bored.

It didn't "supposedly" do that. 6.26 @ 227mph was it's record radial run. Trapped 228 mph at a separate track. Has gone 3.99 @ 187 1/8.

Eagle is NOT a Drag and Drive car, the Proline Hemi is a dry block, there are no provisions for water and there is only one seat, it's set up like a X-275 car, Steve rebuilt the Original BBC for Mullet and that is still his Drag and Drive car.

Steve already explained basically the same thing that Tom did. He wasn't ready and rather than going and breaking more stuff (40k transmissions ect) he's gonna sit out this year and get the car back to snuff.

The proline is a dry engine, it can't do the drive part of drag and drive since it has no coolant.

Sounds like you would rather tracks close because the shutdown area is too short for the speeds car attain these days or tracks not exist at all because there isn't enough room for a 1/4 mile let alone a shut down area.
