See people keep saying 4 races as usual, but I'm pretty sure inquisition was the only other game in the series that has 4 races, origins only had 3, and I'm pretty sure DA2 only had human for the MC but I could be wrong I haven't spent a lot of time on that game
5:09 bro what the Inquisitor did to deserve that kind of slander. The writers for this game are new I take it? One big plot point of DAI was basically the reveal that the Inquisitor was not a destined chosen one, but just a person in the wrong place at the right time who managed to grab a magical elven ball in the ground.
They just wanna tell you how old characters suck compared to new one Warden= Recruited by accident and Mary Sue Hawke=Eeveryrhing happened to him was accident Inquisitor= Mcguffin Rook= Strongest and wisest of them all
The Inquisitor only gets to their position and get their following because people believe them to be chosen. It's the biggest thing in the entire game and the reveal changes nothing about that.
I agree with this, I thought the inquisitor was a cool character because even though they were "chosen", what it really came down to was a normal person who fell into the wrong place at the wrong time and had to completely re-route their life because everyone around them demanded it.
@@samanthakennedy371 We heard they said fall which I’m kinda confused about knowing what month and date when new dragon age game come out because I’m expected this game to be released sometime in march 2025
How is that slander? That is objectively correct. The Inquisitor did ascend because of a magical macguffin. Destiny is irrelevant. Their hand is what put them at the center of everything and led them to become Inquisitor.
At 3 minutes and 23 seconds, I think Bioware has taken aspects of Larian Studios and given actual thought to how to really make an RPG character stand out (looking at the preset genitals of BG3 as an example). At 4 minutes and 6 seconds, I'm really looking forward to finally having a character in a bioware game with arm tattoos!
@@YoungMrBlue Also, I'm kind of wondering if they're gonna release a Japanese version that has the same restrictions as the Japanese version of BG3 (Less nudity, torture, gore, and the privates are censored).
I was hooked by the story (per usual with Bioware) ... then they told me "body tattoos" and "glitter" ... it's like icing on top of icing on a delicious cake , then adding a cherry on top. :-) I'll be spending hours in the CC. The game cannot come soon enough.
Are you a dev, or do you work for the company? I see you in almost every comment section saying the same things with the same like ratio. Seems...weird
@@irishsage2459 Lololol. Summa cum laude in philosophy. Thus, I am not and have never been "dev" material. Needless to say, I've never worked (nor know anyone who works in) the gaming industry. Thank you for the compliment, however.
Always wondered why people care so much about how their pixels look in character creations. After seeing your pfp, I think I'm starting to understand why.
I do hope they improve on the quests and maps for this game. While playing Inquisition I preferred doing the war table events over doing a monotonous fetch quests in these large areas.
Very different game play to be fair. If the combat is fun and reasonably tactical and the story is exciting, reactive, and highly replayable then I don't see any problem.
@@matt-the-slayer8828 Yeah it went from action RPG to a roguelike which takes away freedom of your builds and how you play the game. Personally that's a terrible decision on their part considering the other 3 games had the same/similar gameplay. Why change now all of a sudden
I don't understand why they didn't realize sooner that the name Dreadwolf didn't fit their narrative story. They had ten years to figure this out. That's what triggered fans, first sudden name change, then that strange trailer. I am over it by now mostly, but I hope they learned something from fans response. Gameplay looks alright to me, I know some people are complaining, but what can you do. Yes, it's def not Origins. But I am mostly interested in the story and lore, gameplay is secondary to me. Of course, I care if it's good too. I hope it is.
I’m ok with them not being able too because of the horns that’s fine makes since. Hell maybe be able to make or find a qunari that makes them that’s fine. But not being able to wear clothing options was horrible in inquisition. Especially if you were a mage
I heard this same stuff about dragons dogma (which was good) but nothing amazing. So until i see it and get to use it, im not buying this amazing character creator.
Hey, you could create an incredible detailed character to interact with companions and enemies that look like they came out of lol more than a DA game. Great!
Thank you for your informative video, I have a question, does this mean that veilguard is going to be larger than inquisition and the other dragon age games
@@WesNemo I just hope is big more like The Witcher 3 with good side content and amazing sidequests and not big DAI, with TERRIBLE side quests, fetch quests and collecting one billion frikin shards.
@@MarieS610 you can check the Dev stream, I believe they said sth along the lines of it's been too long You will be recreating choices in DA4, similar to how the Keep handled it
DAI's character creation was ass. Gave us the ugliest options to be "more real". Bish, I'm playing a FANTASY game, wtf would I want to look "normal" everyday ugly??? Hopefully this is better.
No cap dragon age has never had good customization it was solid at best. At least it seems they finally upgraded it into something good based off how rook looked in the gameplay trailer
and the moment you said consultation and representation in a bioware game in teh same phrase is why people are scared about this game its been almost a decade since Inquisition, and that was BioWare's last game, and everyone is begging it to be a good game, both story and gameplay
All i see is Overwatch with DA filter. It has nothing to do with Origins, too many plotholes and its all together diferent game. They should name it just Veil Guard and not Dragon Age. When i want to create chars i play Sims
The plot hasn’t even come out? How is there plot holes. I hate to tell you this, but you gotta move on from origins. It was released in 2009 and the series has been shifting away from the origins vibe in every subsequent game. Go play Origins. It’s already out
you sound very unserious. the game's branding/vision has long since departed from what was established with Origins and has everything to do with the plot in the previous games. go play COD or something pls stop pretending to care about dragon age
Guy who has only played Overwatch "getting a lot of Overwatch vibes from this" Also, what plotholes are you talking about? And how do you know? The game isn't out lol
The last year game wulong had great choices with whole body morphing sliders options so I hope we get away to create better characters in this games with any faces from irl ppl that celebs cuz that cool an creative cuz I love to look like my celebrity crush lol just wishful thinking sorry
