They've been doing it for a month. They keep putting out exclusive gameplay and stuff but legit nothing is new 💀 they just milk the content over and over

I wouldn't expect a huge change

Not really complicated but they do need to make the transformations show when you select the character instead of just having them take up space

The character selection screen is just for the demo

There isn't nearly enough anime material of SSB Evo Vegeta and Rage Trunks (worst transformation ever) for them to have their own movesets. They barely do anything unique in the anime and they weren't even in the manga so there's no moves to pull from there either. Makes way more sense for them to be done this way and flesh out SSB Vegeta and SS2 Future Trunks more and put their one unique ultimate that each has into this character with all the other moves to pull from.

@@joshvarga3591 I call bs. For one. If that is the case, then use the manga. After all, they’re already using manga attacks for Blue Vegeta and Base Black. No reason they couldn’t do it for other characters then. And yes. Vegeta’s upgraded Blue Form against Jiren in the manga is confirmed by official guides to be the manga’s version of Blue Evolution. And even though Toyotaro gave Trunks just an upgraded version of SSJ2 instead of Rage, there’s still enough moves for the form. Such as Mafuba, the Sword of Hope, Father-Son Galick Gun, and you can make a couple of awesome rush attacks based on the different beat downs he gave to Black. Whatever one’s opinion on the forms are is irreverent. Many don’t like SS2, SSJ3, Blue, MUI, Beast, etc. But if any of those forms were just turned into a slight change in appearance, more fans would be upset cause it rings cheapness and lack of creativity. Two. I still think that’s just wrong. Blue Vegeta is in four main arcs and one movie. Yet, he has two beams, and an attack that he used in a different form. There plenty of material to pull from to make both Blue and Evolution Vegeta their own characters. Same goes for SSJ Rage and SSJ2 Trunks.

@@joeker5208 SSB Evolution and Rage Trunks don't even exist in the manga, it would be a waste of character slots cause there's basically nothing unique to pull from. Makes way more sense to leave those slots open for other characters. What moves and examples are you suggesting they could even use to make them full unique characters and not just basically clones? Do we really need to waste more slots on these when they found a way to incorporate the only unique attacks they had and the form into the characters as is? You're entitled to your opinion but I think they made the right move, we get to still see the forms and those main attacks and have more slots for other characters. Like it or not, this is what we're getting.

@@joshvarga3591 again. Blue Evolution very much does. Its design is slightly different, as Vegeta doesn’t bulk up. With its only visual change being the Aura. SSJ Rage was replaced in the manga for Trunks having an advanced version of SSJ2. There’s plenty. If we can have forms for base Cell Games Vegeta who only kicks 19, and SSJ Vegeta from the Buu Saga who only fights in filler. I see absolutely no reason why we can’t have complete movesets for these forms. Especially when someone like SPOPAVICH has a moveset. If you can’t image a fighting moveset for VEGETA, then you really aren’t trying Evolution Vegeta should have Final Flash and a Rush Attack based off his beatdown on Toppo for his Supers. An advanced version of Final Explosion for his Ultimate. Then probably a stat boost or max power-up for one of his utilities, with the other being Explosive Wave. And that’s just by going off what he did in the anime. He has more moves you could reference for attacks if you go with the manga, as he has two fights against Moro, and his battles against Granolah and Beerus Already listed off moves you can use for Rage Trunks Again. We have Spopavich. We’re gonna have Videl. We’re having Whis. Flipping Bergomo’s here. Characters that are barely in any fights, or barely do anything of importance for the big battles. Of course I’d say that two of the main characters should have proper attention to detail. Especially when we’re just mixing things for no other reason than just pure laziness. Sure. You can think that. But like I said. What if SSJ2 Gohan was just in his ultimate for Father-Son Kamehameha? Or SSJ3 Goku was just only in his ultimate and not an actual character? It’s cheap. Tenkaichi is a Dragon Ball simulator. It’s known for having just about every character that’s made an appearance. And the first time DBS is going to be properly done in a story, and two of the forms are cheapened to just an aura change. It’s no shock that some are not happy, even if you don’t feel the same. Saying they’re “taking up space” seems irrelevant with these forms are of importance. Especially next to more irrelevant characters. And since we’ve already had 20+ characters announced for the first season pass, I see absolutely no reason why two extra characters are taking up space

@@joeker5208 This guy is right man, homie I was a teen when all these games came out on ps2 and I played them soooo much; by the end the series had like 80 characters on the list. I do admit budokai 1 only had like 30 characters in all, but LOOK at all the resources and material thats here now. I dont want to hear that excuse. It's like bruh, I didnt go to work all those years in steel and labour to be fed this lazy slop. Edit: Super still feels like a fever dream to me... lol

There have been multiple screenshots showing you can select up to 5 characters on the selection screen. Even in this demo you can see the black bar has space for two more character slots. If you Google “Sparking Zero 5v5” you’ll be able to find the screenshots that confirm it. I think it was also mentioned in an interview that you can select up to 5 characters & can do 1v5 battles if you want, but I can’t remember the interview that well so I’m not able to find that as easily.

@@Kaiser_MHA oh okay awesome I say that there was more space but didn’t want to assume. Just like looking at the health bars makes me think the character can have up to 8 or 9 layers of health making matches last a lot longer

@@demithekid7926 Yeah I’ve noticed that too but given the freedom of the custom battles where you can set everything, it might be possible to choose the amount of health for those battles rather than in just the normal vs modes. Not sure though.

@@bobbyblackman1118 Seriously, all the Dragon Ball games in recent years have been like this. I don't think this game is going to change that much. I'm sure it's just another dlc character purchase. Not expecting much anymore. I'm too disappointed. BT2 and BT3 is the best game ever. (DBZ)
