This is what we would’ve gotten if Toei actually payed their artists/ animators good money and gave them more time between episodes instead of forcing them to slave away with unrealistic deadlines. I hate what idiots in suits do to good artists.
6:53 I love when their hair get in front of their eyes like that. It's what the Super Saiyan form should look like all the time. It give more the ''transformed feeling''. Along with the typical Super Saiyan more pronounced look.
I still don’t get how people say Super’s art style looks good. It just so plastic and sterile looking, theres no grunge to it. It takes away everyones bulk as well aside from some outliers. Compared to the other big 3, Dragonball has regressed, rather than improve.
No es cierto, no en todo, en animación es más fluida y no están media hora mirándose. Y muchos capitulos de z ni animación y ni dibujos buenos tenían. Y lo peor es que a veces pasaban después de un capítulo que si tenía buenos dibujos .
I strongly disagree with you. Super's artstyle is just GOATed, and simply outclasses Z's style in every aspect. The plastic look actually adds a nice touch to the lights, and it's something I prefer over the old, outdated Z Artstyle. Super's Artstyle>>>Z's artstyle all the way.
@@dl0680 I mean you can like SUPER’s artsyle, nothing against that. Just doesn’t change the sterility of the visuals, theres no grime. The Broly movie brought it back and blended them both pretty well. Like remember the DBZ celebration? Where they redrew old scenes? Everyone still had their bulk but the colors were amped up and the linework was cleaned up. It looks so damn good, but when it comes to the actual show the budget just looks to plummet.
I disagree. Z Lacked detail, unlike Super. The plastic look gives a more detailed appearance to the glowing aura, something that Z somewhat lacked and couldn't compete with. Super's Artstyle>Z's Artstyle all the way.
Quand le public américain a débarqué c'est partie en n'importe quoi, façon cartoon comme leurs comics et pas de sangs ,quelle gâchis quand meme je regrette vraiment
Because they gave the animators completely unrealistic deadlines, so of course it didn’t look as good. When they actually did give them time like in Broly, it was peak and honestly some of the best animation I’ve ever seen. Also art styles change, deal with it.
This is what happens when Toei is too focused on mid piece and theyre just too lazy animating dragon ball making mediocore art styles and animations for the franchise that made them popular in the first place
@@gnelexanimations4747Nah the short time frame bs is just not true. The characters have the same art style in The Super Broly movie and they had plenty of time to make that one.
Keep in Mind: super had to develop whole animated episodes within a week. So don't mourn too much on what could've been. Drawing a better looking frames to z level takes time and definitely more than a week. Screw those Japanese sweat shops
Dont be too upset. Those studios were forced to 1 episode per week With dragonball super. It takes time to develop a good looking animation. Screw those Japanese sweat shops
